In remembrance, Light a Christmas candle

The time has come again where we are now in December and many of us will be getting ready for Xmas, Rushing around being getting prepared for Christmas day where we we gather with our families,

Although a joyful time Christmas can also remind us of those that our not here with us anymore, Friends, Family, Pets,

Sometimes we can never get over that special someone who was once part of this world being there with us on that day where families come together,

So I light a candle for those we have lost over the years,

My father passed away Christmas night and as you can imagine, it just isn't the same any more. I not only light a candle, but always go for a walk on Christmas night to remember him and the sparkle in his eye.

I will light one for my Granny and for all of my Brothers in Arms that did not make it home with me.

Rest in peace Memaw M. Though we were not blood related, you were the only grandma that I ever knew. Got a pic of you hanging on my wall that I'm looking at now. I'll be seeing you in the next 50-60 years or so, till then, relax, have fun, and say hello to the people and pets that I've lost these past few years.

For all those who were a part of my life yet are no more..
For a reason, a season, or a lifetime...
Mom, Dad, J,..and many others, I'll be thinking of you this holiday and wishing you were here.

My candle goes to my dear dad, my grandma, two of my uncles whom i loved very much.

May they rest in peace always. They left a huge void.

Our Christmas tree is a 3-foot tall wrought-iron tree that once belonged to my Bride's grandparents. Each of the 20 "branches" end in a little candleholder. Next to that is a metal sculpture about 10" tall with suspended angels and four small candles around it. When you light the four candles, the rising heat causes the angels to rotate on the axis of the scupture.

We'll light them all at least twice, and remember and honor those we miss that are with us in spirit.

I light two candles for my Mom & Dad. I miss them both so much!
We also have candles in our windows to remember the fallen and for anyone who is missed and loved by others.
