In a year that has seen truTV reach new heights in popularity, the network scored another triumph Wednesday night with the premiere of its original series CONSPIRACY THEORY WITH JESSE VENTURA. The premiere episode was watched by 1.6 million viewers, truTV’s biggest audience ever for a new series launch.

I don't think there's any proof, and I don't think they said the government used it for sure, they just pointed out some evidence for it.
I wouldn't exactly be surprised if they did use it.

I liked the episode, looking forward to the next one, it's great that this is reaching a lot of viewers.

I disgree that they should've started out with 9/11. Starting with HAARP was brilliant, because it's lesser known and it was so easy to prove that something hidden and nefarious is going on -- and it's NOT the DoD studying the northern lights!

Starting out with 9/11 would've made Jesse and the program easy to dismiss.
