Donkey Kong on the Moon (Pareidolia)

While watching the LCROSS impact, I noticed this image appearing on screen.

I know my mind will construct things to be easily recognizable, like faces in the texture of wallpaper, etc, etc ... but this is weird.

Here are some things I noticed about this picture.

- I see a head, 2 arms, 2 hands, a torso, 2 legs.

- Ape looking head. (Angry Ape)
- Furled eyebrows (That is why i said Angry Ape)
- Turned down lips... Snarling almost...
- Right arm is point to the sky or something else.
- Left arm is out stretched to his left
- Seems extremely proportionate, but legs are a little short.

Anyway, I'm not sure I'd get too excited. But maybe, just maybe, Apes play a bigger part in our history then we know... I'm trying to think of a segway for the planet of the apes, but unfortunately cannot...

What you are experiencing here is a classic case of Pareidolia

Explanation of pareidolia

Basically this is when you look at clouds, landscapes or pieces of toast and see dragons, gorillas or Jesus.

It's a very natural and common thing for our brain to do.

As soon as you highlighted that shap I could see that gorilla in the moon ... Most of our ATS members will now be able to see that gorilla in the moon ...

However, it is not significant ... no more than the man in the moon is ...

Hang on ... gorilla and man ... they are both primates ... hang on ... could there be a connection ... could this be a sign!!?? ...

... Just kidding

We already had one of these stupid "lol make fun of moon conspiracies lol so random XD" threads tonight.

Besides, its dark outside, I can't see the clouds. So I was reading about Moon bases and castles right here on this site and apprehensively posted this.

From the title i knew it HAD to be good lol.
Yeah the two craters and the black area underneath look like one of the battle toads to me. Do yo think battle toads 2 is on the moon?
