I have been concerned about this ever since the Georgian conflict which really was a Proxy war between the US and Russia in my opinion.

If Iran goes next, and I believe based on all the propaganda that Iran is certainly next, it may draw in Russia and China against the US... but they may still be still stand-offish.

With the way the wars are going, we can only expect bigger and badder escalation in the years to come with Russia and China.

Russia adopted a first-strike policy against aggressors a couple of weeks ago, and regardless of whether the US would attack Russia, the Russian's seem to believe it will happen. That in itself is dangerous enough, especially with Chinese and Russian interests inside Iran.

Ukraine have elections in Jan 2010, so there'll be increased tensions.

I have to admit its getting boring restating time and time again that Pravda is nothing more than "The Enquirer" in Russian. Pravda is full of lies, I repeat it is full of lies.

Although I find it baffling how they expect us to believe the USA will attack Russia when it can't even beat cave men in Afghanistan who have no Planes, Tanks or Satellite tech to fight back but just good old man power.

The American military were disgraced and booted right out of Afghanistan, had to go back in there with the UN holding it's hand.
The UN is now losing there too.

The US military, 160,000 of them, with all the latest hardware and technology have been unable to subdue a few civilian insurgents in Iraq, not even a proper army, after six years of combat.

Admittedly the insurgents are being re supplied and aided by every other nation in the world, including Canada and Australia.
But it is still an absolute disgrace for the US military.

Then in Georgia, with US made equipment, US military advisor's, and full support of the CIA, another humiliating defeat for the US administration.

The Pentagon is terrified to attack Iran, because it would stir up a hornet's nest in the middle east.
America is now left with no allies at all, would be crushed and driven right out of the entire region if Iran gets really mad.

Attack Russia, what a joke that would be.

Sure you can attack Russia, and every single city in the US would be a radioactive smoking ruin within hours.

Sure you can blow up the entire world, And poison all of mankind, but that AIN'T VICTORY.

No you will have your revolution, and get your jollies off by killing each other.
But as a world power, politically, economically, or militarily, the US is now finished.

I'll tell you what I think...the poop will hit the fan when and if a Republican gets back into the White House. Why? Putin hated Bush. Putin condemned Bush for many things, but Putin has lots of praise for Obama. So, when and if another republican gets into office, Russia will be pissed because Obama represents socialistic ideas like Putin does. Republicans support big businesses. The republicans are just setting themselves up for another war, of course...this time with Russia.

I don't know much about these lasers, but I think the US has far more advanced technologies than Russia and other countries. Why? We got those top Nazi scientists after WWII remember? At least that's what I'm led to believe. The US is not one of the most powerful nations because our leaders operate like idiots. Nope. I don't know what would happen if nuclear war were to take place. They say the radiation levels are harmful even in areas not affected by the blasts because radiation spreads due to something. Well, I hope I'm far away from the radiation when the time comes if it does.

Obama seems a bit odd. He sprang up from two parents: one not quite as American as the other. His middle name is Hussein. Doesn't that tell you something about his influences? I'm not say they are good or bad. I say let him do his job...whatever the purpose behind it is. Just keep me out of harm's way should we be attacked.

Now I dont know how true the reports about Afghanistan are.....I dont know anyone that has been there to be honest, but for all the average bloke knows.....all the reports from there could be false and afghanistan is being used as a staging post for an international buildup of troops to attack both iran and prepare for retaliation simultanuously from Russia north of the causcusus and the east from china.

The US has been building up bases and weapons around Russia ever since the cold war fell and this will continue until TSHTF !

It has to happen...the west promised it will never take former soviet block nations into Nato, but this has not been the case.

Nato is slowly but steadily sucking in more and more members.

Mark my words...if an Iran attack doesnt happen the trigger for war with russia will be Ukraine joining Nato......Russia will never stand for that being so close to Moscow.....

i have never quite understood why some countries allow foreign bases & troops on their soil. Usually these bases are even off limits with local authorities! It's like giving a big part of your freedom to hands of another country, even if they are 'friendly' at the moment.

Yeah, because he knows Obama is a pussy and won't do jack to stop him when the Russians invade the former USSR states that became independent in 1991 because they move closer to the West and democracy and away from the iron fist of Russia.

They are everywhere, but Americans don't even look.

Sure, but try to refute this.

There are currently 28 nations that OPENLY have military in Iraq, and their purpose is REBUILDING Iraq.
There are ,many other nearby Muslim nations covertly supporting Iraq with manpower, explosives, and weapons.

Yet none of those twenty eight nations in Iraq are carrying out combat missions against insurgents.

None of those twenty eight nations are taking any casualties.
None ZERO.

None of those twenty eight nations have anything to do with the US as allies carrying out joint COMBAT MISSIONS against insurgents..

Conclusion,
The US is fighting the Iraqi people, you choose to call INSURGENTS.

But other nations are in Iraq helping to put Americans into body bags.by supplying massive international aid.to the Iraqi people.
This has been going on for six years.

If you don't believe this, even Canada has military in Iraq, but is not carrying out combat missions there, or suffering combat casualties, or have anything to do with US operations in Iraq.

So why is Canada in Iraq, and what are they doing there ?
What is Australia doing in Iraq ?

There would definatly be a world war 3 the USA and other countries are making bases around their enemies.

China - America has many bases near japan which can be used against China in a war.

Russia - America has made missile systems in European countries near Russia and they are coming closer to Russia.

North Korea - American troops are presently in South Korea and also as the Japanese American bases to control any threat.
