Another RAF report from one month earlier involving a very similar object description:

Then on the third consecutive day a UFO showed up near the fleet, this time over Topcliffe Aerodrome in England. A pilot in a Meteor was scrambled and managed to get his jet fairly close to the UFO, close enough to see that the object was "round, silvery, and white" and seemed to "rotate around its vertical axis and sort of wobble." But before he could close in to get a really good look it was gone.

any additional info on the incident that the pilot mentioned? the westcoast Us incident where some US pilots got vaporized by ufo ? or was the pilot refer to the pilot gossip going around at that time ? im pretty sure pilots talk to each other and they must be wary of UFO approach since he refer to that west coast incident..

Don't think so Milo and would you believe the videos have been taken down again?

If anyone's in a position to download these for future reference then that would be great as I think they're the last remaining copies on the interweb.

Cheers.

I have a related question I hope, as you brought up that quote;

It seems to me, that almost any explanation for UFOs is semi-tolerated
in this world, except perhaps the 'balls of light ARE the physical UFOs'
or at least highly related to them seems to produce the most violent
possible reaction from nearly all quarters.

Yet we have quotes from highly intelligent, educated and
experienced observers, in the militaries of the world, in the
governments of the world, in universities -- going back more
than 60 years... and these 'blobs of light' often appear on
radar.. can be momentarily locked on.. etc; but SUCH
backlash to postulate the nearly obvious.

What's your take on this?

Hola KellyPrettyBear -suppose each case should be taken on its own merits but there are certainly a few interesting cases that I've read about involving luminous ufobs - this case, this case and this case spring to mind and also found it intriguing that the object in the first incident was reported to be changing in colour as it accelerated.

That said plenty of 'machine like' objects have been reported as well so I've no idea what's going on.

In the book "Encounters with star people" there is an incident
related where 3 orbs of light FORM a physical UFO that
people get on board.

I truly think that GENERALLY there is but on explanation
and not multiple.

(I highly recommend that book BTW - great read).
