Correct but NEWSFLASH, the Citizens Corps is for children under 18 and adults over 65.

....and another NEWSFLASH!!!! The US government doesn't even help out the heros that volunteered during the 9/11 attacks! So you think that sending your children to "fight the war on terror" is a good idea?

I don't honestly see where/how you can draw that conclusion. Some Boy Scouts go through National Youth Leadership Training, part of which includes being able to respond to disaster situaitons and the like. That training enabled the Boys Scouts in Iowa last year who got hit by a tornado to start seach and rescue right after the tornado, before any other help could arrive.
