Although the information is old it may be new to many. The fact that Hawaii is not legally a state in America may have profound implecations on the
birther movement.
Much has changed since 2003 and if Hawaii is not part of America where does that leave Obamah.
Perhaps this could be the smoking gun rather than the birth certificate.
whatreallyhappened.com...
Not sure if there has been an update on the state of Hawaii since this was published perhaps some one could advise.

You have stumbled upon a tremendous conspiracy. All of the text books. The QUARTERS for Pete's sake. They made a FAKE QUARTER of this island that
isn't even a state. The lengths they will go to to get someone in office.
Did the birth certificate thing run out of steam already? Although your ummm 'source' looks 'believable' enough...
Sorry. I'm not buying it. I think we're going to need more to back it up than a poorly done website.

Great, this is a perfect example of what is wrong with the anti-Obama movement. There is no talk of whether his administration's policies are
actually helping or hurting, only rhetoric claiming he is either a socialist, or not even a "real" American. Puh-lease... if you can't get any
traction with the Kenyan BC hoax, maybe the Hawaii isn't a real State anyway tact with take with the people. Desperation rears it's ugly head.
If the talking heads that fuel your ignorance told you people that the Declaration of Independence was not a valid document therefore the USA isn't a
real country, therefore Obama can't be President, I'm not sure, but I think some of you would actually believe it and post it here on ATS. You
heard it here first folks.
I know the old saying about arguing on the internet, but this is beyond retarded. Please stop.

Hawaii ( /həˈwaɪ.iː/ (help·info) or /həˈwaɪʔiː/ in English; Hawaiian: Mokuʻāina o Hawaiʻi) is the newest of the 50 U.S. states, and
is the only state made up entirely of islands. It is located on an archipelago in the central Pacific Ocean, southwest of the continental United
States, southeast of Japan, and northeast of Australia. The state was admitted to the Union on August 21, 1959. Its capital is Honolulu on the island
of Oʻahu. The most recent census estimate puts the state's population at 1,283,388.
In March 1959, both houses of Congress passed the Hawaii Admission Act and U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed it into law. (The act excluded
Palmyra Atoll, part of the Kingdom and Territory of Hawaii, from the new state.) On June 27 of that year, a referendum was held asking residents of
Hawaii to vote on accepting the statehood bill. Hawaii voted at a ratio of 17 to 1 to accept. There has been criticism, however, of the Statehood
plebiscite, because the only choices were to accept the Act or to remain a territory, without addressing the issues of legality surrounding the
overthrow.[31][32][33] Despite the criticism, the United Nations Special Committee on Decolonization later removed Hawaii from the United Nations list
of Non-Self-Governing Territories.
After statehood, Hawaii quickly became a modern state with a construction boom and rapidly growing economy. The Hawaii Republican Party, which was
strongly supported by the plantation owners, was voted out of office. In its place, the Democratic Party of Hawaii dominated state politics for 40
years.

Aha!
But not a single state in the USA is a legitimate state in the first place!
Britain did not agree to this illegal revolution, and thus all Americans are actually illegals and all of these states actually belong to Britain,
Spain, and France!
And if you delve even deeper into the vast conspiracy, it is actually the native American tribes that own it in the first place!
So indeed every single President since the Revolution are all usurpers and fakes!
En garde!

I think the problem is that many people in the US have a very difficult time with the notion that a Black man is running the country. Rather than
accept this, learn that Obama's no different from anyone else, and move on, they have to invalidate his whole presidency. They want to be able to
claim, "it never happened". Unfortunately, they waited too long.
All of this discussion would have been reasonable before the election, during the campaign - even during the Democratic primary. A single legitimate
question then could have blown Obama right out of the water, and no on would ever have heard of him. But they didn't raise the question, because
there was no question to raise. Obama is a natural born citizen, Hawaii is a state, and the Birthers are pretty much out of luck. Let's move on
now.
Oh, yeah. As for the notion that Hawaii isn't "really" a state because the process of admitting it to statehood broke various laws and treaties -
guess what? That same logic applies to *every* state. So if you insist that Obama step down, then you should also insist that each state's
residents - the European ones, anyway - leave the country and go back to Europe. They're all illegal aliens. With the possible exception of
Manhattan, this whole country was violently taken away from the people who were already here.

You're obviously biased and angry.

...just looking forward to the sixty two different versions of 'Hawaii is not a LEGAL STATE!!!' thread...
It reminds me of the state sovereignty thing... Alaska has a movement that is very similar...they get labeled nutjobs...Palin's husband was a
member...just because a group of people doesn't agree with it, doesn't make it true...but I have to hand it to you, that was a LOT better looking
site.

Not a question of respect just forgot to check the spelling of his name, not being an American I probably don't see it as often in print as
yourself.
Also I did ask if anyone knew anything about the question of Hawaii not being part of America not being familliar with it myself.

Do you really need someone else to point out whether his policies are working or not? The only thing that he's proven is that he can spend a sh*t -
ton of our money, and get us nothing in return. Additionally, most "birthers" aren't that concerned with where he was born anyway. They're
concerned about the fact that he's hiding his past. They're concerned because people like you don't think that a background check should be
required for the highest office in the land.
And maybe read some of his policies, then look up socialism before you bring the subject up again. When government fingers, hold the strings for the
banking, automotive, and soon to be health care industries, that's called socialism... on a bright and sunny day. When it's dark and gloomy, we
call it fascism.
Look, I don't give a damn where he was born, or what color his skin is. The FACT of the matter, is that he is not qualified to lead this country,
especially though the dire straights we're in now. The last thing we needed was an idealistic neophyte with a socialist agenda who's greatest skill
is dividing the people. Not with double digit unemployment 2 wars and two other rouge states who want war.
