Why we wont 'wake up'

I agree a great amount with you. I feel that I am one of those who have woken up, but when i try to speak with others about various topics, they are clueless, oblivious. I dont blame this on them, i blame it on those who they were raised around and continue to communicate, the majority of people, the clueless.

Unfortunately, you are incorrect in regards to ATS and waking up. I've never seen such ignorance on the mosque debate and the Obama hating and all of that stuff. That's the behavior of sheep.

A true awakening involves discarding the system in place and rejecting all forms of fear-based techniques.

We all have to eventually. I just can't believe how deeply the others are sleeping. I think they sense something is not quite right but they pacify themselves with distractions like material things and drama.

When fully awakened one finally realizes (for lack of a better word) TRUTH.

In our universe the only thing real is truth.

People are designed to seek and discover the truth, but only with the condition of absolute and unfettered free will.

Wealth, religion, politics, social issues, dogma, fascism, evil...... These are all simply playthings. No shuffling of wealth, or destruction of lives affects the reality of Truth in any way.

Everything fades but truth.

I can't give you the truth. The only way you can find it is by using your own free will gift to seek it.

I can give you a hint though: jobs, religions, families, belongings, beliefs, goals, success, failure, evil, good.... none of these exist in truth. They are all playthings human mind has invented to confuse itself.


When you get rid of all the other superfluous garbage there is only one question remaining.

Will you use your gift of Free Will to choose to serve others;
or, Will you use your gift of Free Will to serve yourself?

When you have made that decision, you will truly know what it means to be Awake.

Life is good for those within the box. They do what they are told. They get rewarded for doing what they are told. And here come the awakened to challenge their perception of reality. How dare us! They are having a great time and some non conforming person wants to come change their perception of reality? The blue or red pill analogy is a great one to have, because no matter which pill they take it is their choice.

...sometimes when i hear (or read) someone say the over-used "wake-up" line, i wanna smack em with a rolled up magazine to see if they're really awake...


...sometimes when folks ignore your wake-up crap its not because they're asleep or complacent... its because they think you're an arrogant idiot or a paranoid parrot - and - sometimes, they're right...


...you might be a victim of lack of mind control (ahahahaa) if you frequently use any of the phrases: "wake-up!", "it was like a slap in the face!", "the powers that be" or "when shtf"...

Unless, You decide to choose to serve, If you choose to serve you effectively render your mind obsolete and it in turn refuses to accept the truth, The truth that we, As human beings have the right, the gift of freedom, Free will, The right to be the men and women we we're born to be, the bible states that 'god' made man in his image, Thus meaning how he wants us to be, Therefore when you choose to serve you give up your free will, This is not how god would've wanted you to be however he will not interfere because of "Free Will" We we're given free will and to give it up is to give up the truth Least that's what I think

I wonder sometime....if the PTB aren't trying to protect us in a weird, way, from some horrible truth that they know, that they can't tell us or we'll all go crazy.

Like what if they aliens are coming to take over, and if you don't have gold or silver to offer them, you before food, or a slave to them? So of course the elite are trying to get all the gold/silver they can so they can take care of themselves.

I dunno, it's probably a lot easier if one doesn't think about much past getting up, breakfast, work, home, the game, sleep, repeat.

People are waking up. Not everyone will be easy to wake up, but I think we will at some point wake enough people up to change the world.

1) Disprove the lies they believe.
2) Replace the lies with truth.

Repeat, repeat, repeat.......

I said people are waking up, and some definitely are. A good example would be to look at someone who has been on medications that are harming the patient, and the side effects are outweighing any good the drugs may have. Along comes someone who shows them that their medications are hurting them. Light bulb goes off, (not for everyone though) they end up trashing their medications for natural therapies that work, as suggested by this "someone" mentioned above.

Stories like this exist. See, all we need to do is to continue to work this process. It's not enough to just post here on ATS, the truth has to be gotten out, however you gotta do it, in a way that people will listen to.

You don't need to "reach" everyone, everyone will eventually be reach, though, but you do need to continue to try and reach people. Some people will discredit you, but you just keep moving on. Someone will "bite." Someone is looking for what you have to say.

I believe you simply need to reach enough people to create a "tipping point" where the biggest majority knows the truth, at which point the momentum changes what the rest of the world experiences. For example, the large majority of doctors change to natural methods, and the norm now becomes natural and safe therapy. And when you walk into a doctors office, you don't get Mucinex for congestion, you get instructions to boost your Vitamin c, and anti-oxidants, and the doctor tells you to take garlic to fight off the infection. This all came about because some brave individuals hammered in the truth about drug sided effects to doctors, and also hammered in the truth about safe and effective therapies. Drug commercials would be ineffective against people who know better, people who are "awake."

What system are you referring to? Your post is quite on the vague side.

Anyway, there are people out there who are ready for the truth. Someone just needs to tell them.

Ah very true indeed, The sort of things people are exposed to should shock them but they dont. The way our society is now everyone only cares for themselves no one cares to try and understand someone else. They will just continue to sit in front of their t.v. and argue with their friends mindlessly fooling themselves into thinking they are making a difference. But when someone tries to make a difference like a real effort he/she is labeled Crazy, Insane, and a Lunatic. Because no one cares they are to apathetic if you want someone to "wake up" They have to care first. That's a big key there. Now if you think about it, How do you go about making a group of people care? Well there could be multiple ways, My favorite idea is to get a big following or group of people who want to make a difference and show them how to understand people by, Well talking to other people, Example tell the whole following or group of people to make a phone call to a stranger get involved in their life for an hour and try to understand how they have gone through things and hopefully they will pass it on and call 3 more people and continue to do so. Having said that imagine people becoming more inclined to help a stranger because they have an idea of how a stranger feels. And! is that not what the captors of our liberties fear most A united people? Not only would we be united we would eventually be enlightened to the dark veil covering their minds. That is a powerful thought. people who understand eachother. That is a dream of mine and I invite anyone to try this.

We, the members of ATS are the people who have 'woken up', admittedly to different degrees but nonetheless we are here. I have friends who are more intelligent than I, yet they hide behind the standard lines, preferring to argue about their ideas of the left and the right, completely ignoring the issues that really affect our lives. The reason is fear of the unknown, being comfortable in their bed of commercialism.

We appear to be in a time of huge advances in the human consciousness, I am glad I am here for the ride with my eyes and ears shut and my mind wide open.

sorry to break it to ya bro, but your "intelligent" friends arent really intelligent. They are simply left brain thinkers, 90 percent + left brain thinkers, they dont think holistically, they've been moulded by the system....these people will be the death of us.

Good thinking - and that's why so many 'spiritual' teachers are urging us again and again to get out of 'head' mode and into 'heart' mode.

Perhaps simple brain balancing exercises can help change the world!

The question I often ask myself is - "Can a person wake up so much that they vanish because they are no longer a part of, or required to be within this reality?"

If so, does their body slump to the ground dead or does it completely disappear? Would the world and the people therein even remember this person having ever been part of it?

With the whole economic crisis going on all over the world people are changing there veiws everyday! Here in our country its when we go to the grocery store and we see $ 3.00 eggs for a dozen of them or 8 dollar coffee. Its the little things in life that will hopefully send all of our neighbors over the edge. Our basic rights are being raped from us every day "TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION" im pretty sure lots of people died for this basic right!

I am awake! I am trying to spread this information to people I meet in person everyday. We must keep at it!
