You know, as crazy as it sounds, it all makes sense in a way.

The abductions and distractions. The really crazy part is the fact that he said that we are an "experiment" from some unknown race of aliens. Now that is really crazy.

Edit to add - Where are the slides he was talking about? Anybody know?

what backs his story up for sure for me is that he doesnt want any profit from this
