Test tube sperm and the end of men?

i think this is similar to the storyline for the comic series Y THE LAST MAN
A scientist developed a way to reproduce with out semen and it caused nature 6to create a virus that killed every organism with a y chromosome except a slacker and his pet monkey by the way it was the monkey who was immune
and his owner was protected by his pets poop immmunizing him .

I see this amazing development for what it is worth -

a) helping infertile men father children

b) for helping lesbian couples have a family

c) for developing stem cells to cure all types of diseases, injuries etc.


To those that think this is the end of men...you must be very naive when it comes to what women want and need - I am not going into detail, use your imagination but if you even think this is the end of men, perhaps you do not have an imagination. You could not be serious? Surely you read and watch much too much sci-fi.

I would rather have a flesh and blood man any day than a turkey baster!!

Think about it...

Who would want to eliminate men in the reproduction process the most? Gay republican senators. That way they could get married and have kids to look as normal as possible without actually having to 'be with' their wives.
