Hi! I think you should go on your road trip. First, as already stated, Mass has some strict gun laws. And it is a cool state to check out.
Second, I live in the Southwest, where you can still carry a gun in a holster and walk around town. It is business as usual around here. I don't
think the poop is gonna hit the fan any time soon. People may be struggling, but conditions will have to get much worse for anything major to happen.

Im from MA, theres not much to do in some parts, there are some nice towns in the western part and on the east coast near the cape. I happen to like
New Hampshire better. I left a year ago due to the economy and the people. But its not a war zone, except people are terrible drivers and have bad
road rage. Depends what you're looking to do.
