I have a question. I practice an Afro Cuban religion, and we work with the Spirit world. Many of our ceremonies indeed open us up as mediums. As well, our spirits and deities often possess us and give us information.

Our mythology says that the higher deities that we have relationships with were on this earth, but were not human.

On one occasion, a spirit that was speaking through someone told me I had something important to do, and on another occasion, one told me that "I was one of the chosen". In my 11 years of being around this religion, I have never heard anything like this. Usually, It is just daily advice on how to be spiritually and physically healthy. They don't give us vague things like this. Also, may many people in the SF Bay area that practice the religion have been warned by spirits to prepare for a huge earthquake. My friend was possesed by his spirit right before Katrina and right after the Tsunami. That spirit said what happened in Asia is coming to this land in the form of wind and waves. Sure enough, 8 months later, Katrina.

In you opinion, What would important thing would a "chosen" person have to do?

Oddly enough, I read somewhere cellphones have some sort of quantum tunneling technology in them (for what reason, I do not know). Someone with a buttload of bright braincells should try making some sort of spooky sci fi time travel device or something out of that sort of gadgetry....
