I mean, The world would be an infinitely safer place if everyone in NYC carried a gun, great idea!

If everyone had a weapon, those who discharges their's would always be surrounded.

I'm not supporting the idea, but do you really think that if everyone had a gun, as many people would get away with committing crimes?

Nope, But I sure as hell think more people would get shot.

Lets look at the scenario.

1: Man walks into a bank and pulls gun on Till worker
2: 4 other people pull guns and fire at Man with gun
3: Criminal gets shot and dies, discharges weapon shoots till worker she dies
4: Security enter, See 4 people with guns, pull their own guns
5: Shouting match starts, one gun goes off accidently, all 4 discharge guns killing random people and security guard, other secrity guards fire guns hitting people with guns drawn and random people, in confusion more people pull guns.
6: Shooting continues till everyone is dead.

Now lets do it in a park

1: man walks into a palk and draws gun on woman.
2: woman pulls gun as does passer by
3: passer by fires gun, woman fires gun misses man etc etc etc

Less guns. Less people get shot.

Do i use them....no...but i have taken work related classes on the subject...as well as read up on the topic...besides for the oddles of military friends...believe me...explosives = bad
