Female nursery worker arrested over paedophile network investigation

A female nursery worker was at the centre of an investigation into a paedophile network after she was arrested over child pornography allegations.

Vanessa George, 39, who lives in Plymouth with her husband and two teenage daughters, was detained at home at dawn on suspicion of distributing indecent images of children.

Okay this is [snip] out of control, what else would a parent need to do to make sure his or her children are safe from these sick mentally disturbed people. Should we ask police for background checks of anyone who is associated with children.

Sorry for the abusive language but this sheet seriously ticks me off, i mean how far and would it be justified if a parent went to find her or who else was associated and plant right crosses across the face make sure she or whoever wears dentures for the rest of their life.

Damn, just seriously pisses me off...Again sorry about the language just could not help myself here.

Should we ask for back police background checks of anyone who is associated with children.

We already have required police background check for people that work with children in the US and it does not stop them.

Here in Calif they average about one arrest a week of paedophiles working with children. all have had the background checks and who knows how many have never been caught.

I guess we will have to start waterboarding child care workers next.

There is nothing worse than a crime invoving a sexual act with a child. You steal that child's soul and innocence away when you do that and make a damaged person. Life in prison isn't enough for these people. A lot get out after 12-20 years and get to go on with their lives while the child that they harmed has to live with that forever.

I have no forgiveness for these pedophiles. To me they exist somewhere between cockroaches and that white stuff that forms in the corner of your mouth when you're thirsty.

There's no punishment severe enough for pedophiles - period.

This has been all over my local news, the woman did have CRB checks.
Anyone working with children has to have one.
Trouble is many people are not caught which equals a clean record.

If it turns out she is guilty I hope they put her away for a long time.

the sad thing is more and more women are sexually abusing children , the numbers caught are climbing awfully - yet the courts go soft on them.

even though it is a form of prevention, it does not stop things like this happening, the perpetrator may never have been caught before or it could be a first time thing etc

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Unfortunately doing criminal background checks on people does not always work. I know. Most of the people involved in this sick world of pedophilia know how to hide their sick obsession - and unfortunately many do not get caught. And seems that those who get caught are let out on the street to victimize again.

I truly believe that this is a sick behavior with no cure. Even convicted pedophiles will tell this. The only solution is to never ever let them out in the free world amongst others. Never.

Based on things I have seen with my eyes, stories we have all heard and cases we know about.........I would never leave my child in a home daycare. Never. My child is now in a private preschool with cameras/monitors everywhere and teachers everywhere. No kid is ever left alone or outside the range of cameras. Unfortunately, many parents have no choice. But it is still their responsiblity to be in control of that situation - unannounced visitations for example.

I hate these people more than any others for what they do to these innocent children. No pity and no mercy for these monsters.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

We all know what happens to these insects when in jail, i only hope it can be viewed over the internet as reminder to others.

If thats true about it being a mental illness i guess lobotomy isn't out of the question. We could always give them bamboo and make them sit on a chair constructing basket for the rest of their natural life.

So, her husband will need to be looked at, as will her children.

Just like the Melissa Huckaby/Sandra Cantu thing, where you should just know that she was abusing her own daughter in some way.

That makes no sense.

Most female perverts offend the same way male pervs do. Against their children, or children in their care.

This woman would have had a criminal check done for her job. A perv is a perv - this one's children have probably outgrown her age of interest so she's expanded outside her family. Or she's co-offending with a male perp. That would put her pretty soundly in the usual profile for these women.
