The whole concept of human manipulation fascinates me. It is the one conspiracy that resonates the truth with me. I don't know if it's the Greys, the Reptilians, or the Annunaki, however, it could be a completely different group for all we know. The fact remains that we are not where we are because "It just happened this way."

The fact that we as a species are so divided makes no sense as being "Natures design" working as intended. This is wrong. Sure you can argue that we are diverse as a species and that makes us have differences. Well Diversity should not = Division by nature. In humanity what divides us is what sets us apart from one another. Whether it be race, religion, or even gender in some cases (completely ridiculous, but it's the truth). Could it be that this mentality that we are indoctrinated with since birth has been established by a higher intelligence? All arrows are pointing down this road.

I recommend you watch this video because it is well thought out and it explains this theory in greater detail.

The following text is from the youtube videos information. It contains some interesting information that goes hand in hand with this topic itself;

There is a reason why this video was taken down. The original title of this video was "Our leaders are not Human....Think about it" Look it up, its still on youtube but you cant watch it, just says the video was taken down for no good reason.

I want everyone of all religions, creeds and colors to think about this for a second.

We are born premature WHY!
Hard Facts
97% of our DNA - Locked
95% of our brain - Locked
20 of 60 DNA codes - Locked
Half as many genes as a chimpanzee?
2 chromosomes taken out or spliced one being the chromosome for ape like strength

Nature doesn't go backwards like that..If it did you see creatures starting to revert back into slime.
Nature by law only moves forward. Human genome has approximately 3 billion base pairs of DNA arranged into 46 chromosomes

The human genome is comprised of two sets of 23 chromosomes - 46 chromosomes in all. Each parent contributes a set. About 97 percent of the genome consists of sequences that don't code for proteins and have no known function. Within the rest of the genome are estimated 70,000 genes.

To suppose that earth is the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to believe that in an entire field sown with millet, only one grain will grow The Human Genome project revealed that human beings have 30,000-40,000 genes. That number is much lower than expected.

For example, fruit fly has 13,300 genes, roundworm - 18,300 genes, mustard weed - 25,700 genes. According to genetic analysis, though, more than 98% of human DNA is identical to chimpanzee DNA. In fact, chimpanzees are more closely related to humans than orangutans and gorillas.
"Humans are simply odd looking apes," psychologist Roger Fouts of Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, writes in his 1997 book

Controversial Discoveries
A 3.5-million-year-old fossil, flat-faced human from Kenya - Kenyanthropus platy-ops, suggests the human family tree is a lot more complicated than we knew. Implication is clear: More than one species of pre-human was wandering around Africa a few million years ago, and it's anyone's guess which of them evolved into human race.

This video was intended for creationists attempting to argue for ID, but it works equally well as a challenge for supposed incidents of "alien intervention".

Online Mendelion Inheritance in Man

Here is an avenue by which to prove suspected genetic manipulation by aliens. If there is any evidence at all to support the claim, it's buried here be here waiting to be uncovered.

Really, I think it makes perfect sense.

Could it be that this mentality that we are indoctrinated with since birth has been established by a higher intelligence? All arrows are pointing down this road.

No, it comes from nature. Life has propagated into the vast system it has not because of it's tendency for convergence, but rather divergence. Look into nature. Do you see competing troupes of chimpanzees, when their territories come too close, come together in friendship and love? No. They fight, bitterly. Even Bonobos which are known for their peaceful sexual means of settling in-group disputes are known to viciously attack and kill males from other groups. When a new member to their groups is adopted, they are not accepted as equals - but as subservient peons who must scrape what they can from the scattered discards of the main group.

The vast majority of human evolution, and the formation of human evolutionary behaviors, was within similar hominid groups. Our early ancestors were tribal hunter gatherers who warred with each other over hunting grounds and living territory. Even today we see conflicts between tribes of native peoples in those few places where they still exist in the world. When Europeans first arrived in the Americas and shown themselves to be a threat to the native tribes - why didn't the Native Americans consolidate their power and push the Europeans back? Why did they align themselves with the various powers, France, England, Spain, the Colonies - and use foreign powers and their technology to help fight their battles?

Just because we've traded in the savannas for the suburbs, doesn't mean aren't still tribal peoples... doesn't mean we aren't still merely a species of domesticated ape. We don't live in the traditional "packs" our ancestors did, but we label "Us from Them" in various other ways. Sports teams, Nations, Political Ideologies, Religions, skin color, and even our choice of electronics. Microsoft vs. Apple... Sega vs. Nintendo. It's all the same.

We may choose to transcend these limitations and these boundaries as individuals, but the instinct will always be there so long as we are human, and it will always manifest itself in society at large.

This is where I disagree with you. We are not tribal people anymore. You are talking about competition in the animal kingdom, in nature. We humans are conscious and aware beings who can farm, gather, and harvest for ourselves rather than kill and hunt. We are evolved and still evolving beings. We need to reach a point in our evolution when we no longer need to compete amongst ourselves, and to put aside our differences. This is the next step. I think we would already be at that level had we not been manipulated, and are continued to be manipulated to this day.

Our leaders are predatory. By design, to get ahead in the world, you must be predatory. The world is a predatory place. Why?

The rich ones feeding and thriving off of those of lesser stature are, in reality, the problem. If the world is set up to promote only corruption, greed, and selfishness, and those who reach the top are the worst among us, then surely that is because those at the highest echelons of power are completely CORRUPTED.

Some say mankind is like a virus, I argue we are worse. A virus exists only to propagate, to further it's own survival. It does not act in any way that would detriment its own existance. We kill eachother, steal from eachother, hate eachother... Why is that? If we are so advanced, why are we so full of disfunction?

We are not natural. We are something else, something more... We are not like animals, we are more savage then they are. Yet we have a potential to be awesome. A potential that sadly, only few have achieved since the beginning. Only once we eliminate the concept of "self" from our minds, will we realize the truth.

What happened in the past is not relevant. Whats important is what we as a collective humanity need to do right now in order to steer this animal in the right direction before $hit hits the fan and the human race becomes extinct. The truth is that humans are divine creators of their very realities and experiences. What we think about and believe, we become and live. Ofcourse, most of us aren't aware that we're creating reality with our thoughts, so we go about living our lives and it slips under the conscious radar. This isn't new age mysticism, it's higher spiritual science thats been kept hidden from us for thousands of years... purposefully.

There are several races of extraterrestrials that have always been in visitation with us. Anyone who has actually taken the time out and done research should know this by now. Unfortunately, some people would rather have an opinion on something before investigating. Some of the extraterrestrials are ethical; they're here to help us evolve consciousness and make us more aware of who we are. Others are unethical; they're here because they're the David Rockefellers and Dick Cheneys of the universe, and they're driven by power & greed. The real controllers of this planet per se... get ready for this... are composed of the human ruling elite and certain races of unethical extraterrestrial factions. They directly influence everything, including the media. They have actively denied the existence of extraterrestrials and suppressed higher cosmic laws and spirituality because, if enough people realized the truth of their existence as creators, the controllers would completely lose their power, and their plans would collapse. Therefore, they have very subtlely been creating us instead. Creating us into what, you ask? Creating us into consumers, patriots, religious fanatics, separate nations, races, wealth classes, etc. Basicaly, anything that would divide the population and make it more easily malleable & controllable. Peter Joseph (Zeitgeist) had it spot on, but he left out the extraterrestrial involvement.

Think about this for awhile. All of this is going to become a lot more open as time goes by and people become more aware. Most importantly, think positive; positivity, compassion, and a sense of oneness are the keys. Negativity perpetuates the problem.

Meanwhile, I better stop it there before the CIA tracks my IP!

I'm a firm believer that all things happen on the path of evolution, and can be undone on the path of evolution. Though it's true we are a warring race, which we have been since we've been using tools... and probably longer. It is instinctual because for a very long time, it was necessary. Now it's not so necessary, but our nature as a whole can't be resisted immediately. Some day ("God Willing") we could evolve to a state which does not need aggression.

This is where I disagree with you. We are not tribal people anymore. You are talking about competition in the animal kingdom, in nature.

By necessity, no. But you're not going to change millions of years of evolution by moving to a suburb and getting a 9 to 5. Our ancestors couldn't reason and deliberate a method of social structure, so how did they (or modern chimpanzees) know how to form groups? Because our brains are hardwired by evolution for tribalism, before we're even born. It's a part of who we are... and it's served our species well in the past.

I'd argue that it still serves us well - however, we are quickly entering a time when competition is still vital, but the consequences of that competition can be increasingly deadly.

There's an excellent book you should considering reading regarding evolutionary sociology and psychology called The Blank Slate: Modern denial of human nature.

I really think there's a lot to this which is being collaborated by developmental neurology, psychology, and genetics. Specifically, that our minds horrendously complex, but are built upon a comparatively very simple genetic code... and that human brains do evolve with particular tendencies and instincts. The tabula rasa model is wrong... at least in part.

These behavioral tendencies which we have hardwired into our brains from birth, while not being set in stone thanks the to amazing plasticity of the human brain, do manifest themselves in society at large. This creates social memes which get passed around and reinforce these initial tendencies in a sort base level positive feedback loop.

We humans are conscious and aware beings who can farm, gather, and harvest for ourselves rather than kill and hunt.

Regardless of our conscious state, we would still need to hunt and kill. Human beings, like almost all of our ape cousins, are omnivores. The only real notable exception is the Gorilla. However, if you notice the difference in our abdomens - you'll see that Gorillas have a much more distended abdomen than humans, chimps, or orangutans. This is because the Gorilla's intestinal tract is by far larger than any of ours - simply because it's diet of vegetative matter is harder to digest and extract nutrients from. Whereas, the other three great apes can supplement their diet with flesh, bird eggs, and insects.

If you're trying to elude that we're not animals because we can choose not to kill prey - well, the criteria is that we ingest and digest living cells to survive. There is no distinction made between plant or animal.

We are evolved and still evolving beings. We need to reach a point in our evolution when we no longer need to compete amongst ourselves, and to put aside our differences.

We can't get rid of competition, because competition is what spurs growth and new ideas. To get rid of competition would ultimately be a slow death for the entire species. Indeed, competition is a major driver of evolution - because those creatures which cannot adequately compete are selected against.

Also... I don't think you have a clear understanding of what evolution is.

Evolution is not like a ladder.

Other taxa may have changed and diversified a great deal—but that doesn’t mean they got “better.” After all, climates change, rivers shift course, new competitors invade—and what was “better” a million years ago, may not be “better” today. What works “better” in one location might not work so well in another. Fitness is linked to environment, not to progress.

24 Myths and Misconceptions about Evolution.

I think we would already be at that level had we not been manipulated, and are continued to be manipulated to this day.

I don't think we have been manipulated. I don't see any real evidence to even suggest that. However, if there is a smoking gun, it's in the link I provided. Surely someone on ATS is capable enough of analyzing the data and concerned enough about the truth to really look at the hard evidence and find cold, hard, incontrovertible facts to back up their claims - rather than just splicing together David Icke videos and propaganda images.

I hear what you're saying. However, I do think that competition... perhaps even war... is still necessary in long term survival of our species. The danger is in our technology which is increasingly capable of killing us all. I think there has to be a way to kind of... simulate... the effects of war and the beneficial attributes of competition without actually having a humanitarian cost. The only problem is... how the hell do you stop someone who doesn't like the result from picking up a gun and shooting someone?

Even if we were to somehow negate the issue of physical resources, that doesn't solve the problem of resources of the mind. Whereas we currently fight over oil, land, and other resources - and throw a coat of ideological paint over it - the removal of those resources will still see us fighting over ideologies such as religions or politics. Especially aggressive ideologies which cannot be mitigated by partitioning or segregation, but actively seek to convert or dominate competing ideologies fueled by fundamentalist fervor.

Also... uh, just to clear a few things up in the external source quote posted in the OP.

Hard Facts 97% of our DNA - Locked

Closer to 95%, and it's not locked away. It's simply non-coding. Occasionally a few of these genes will get turned on by a mutation, either an addition or a deletion causing a frameshift. This usually manifests in the form of excess hair growth or tails. They're called atavisms, and they're traits that our ancestors had - but that we no longer possess. They're quite common in the animal kingdom. For instance, we've identified the gene which can cause chickens to grow teeth.

95% of our brain - Locked

This is absolutely not true. The vast majority of our brain is used for tasks such as regulating heart-beat, respiration, blinking, balance, sensory processing, etc. We use 100% of our brains pretty much 100% of the time... just not at 100% capacity. Unless, of course... you're in the middle of an epileptic seizure where normal electrical discharges in your brain are far above normal and firing irregularly.

20 of 60 DNA codes - Locked

I don't even know what this is supposed to mean.

Half as many genes as a chimpanzee?

A gene is a section of your genetic structure that codes for a trait. So how can humanity have 98% of it's genes in common with a Chimpanzee, yet only have half as many genes. If the gene was turned off, it wouldn't be a gene. It would simply be a sequence of base pairs in a non-coding region.

2 chromosomes taken out or spliced one being the chromosome for ape like strength

Chromosome #2 is fused, not spliced. It still retains it's telomere caps at what would have been their ends, and their centromere markers in the middle of each part of the chromosome, though one is deactivated. They really are two separate chromosomes that are just fused at the ends.

Also, chromosomes don't code for traits.

Nature doesn't go backwards like that..If it did you see creatures starting to revert back into slime.

Yet we have instances like the blind mole rat, not to mention aquatic mammals which returned to the sea. Fins to legs.... to fins. Though the bone structure is quite different from that of a fish. Not to mention flightless birds... or better, flightless semi-aquatic birds like the Penguin who's wings have turned into flippers/fins.

About 97 percent of the genome consists of sequences that don't code for proteins and have no known function.

This holds true across a wide spectrum of nature as well. Some have far - FAR - more non-coding sequences than we do. Some are far, FAR simpler than humans - yet contain several orders of magnitude more functional and coding genes than us. For instance there's a species of amoeba that has 200 times more genes than humans have.

The real oddity in nature, is finding an animal which doesn't have junk DNA accumulated over the years. That, to me, is a huge indicator of tampering, because it's well outside of the norm. And... in fact, we find that in the Puffer Fish which has virtually no junk DNA.

"Humans are simply odd looking apes,"

I dunno. I'd say we're perfectly fine looking apes. There's no diagnostic trait which apes possess that we do not. We're no more odd looking in comparison to an Orangutan than a Chimpanzee is to a Gorilla. Although I will say we are some pretty odd looking fish.

First off, thanks for clearing up some of the points in the OP. I am no expert on genetics so I'm glad someone was able to clarify.

We can't get rid of competition, because competition is what spurs growth and new ideas. To get rid of competition would ultimately be a slow death for the entire species. Indeed, competition is a major driver of evolution - because those creatures which cannot adequately compete are selected against.

I have an issue with this statement. First off, competition is deadly and idiotic when a species posesses technology that can destroy the earth and all of its inhabitants (I go into this in more detail below). Second, from my perspective, growth and new ideas (aka inspiration) comes from having consciousness. Consciousness partnered with experiences creates inspiration.

For example when you witness something spectacular in nature, (an eclipse or something) as an artist for example, you could be inspired to paint what you saw. Musicians are inspired by personal experiences or beliefs, and draw upon those experiences to create their music and lyrics. People who go through tough times are inspired to make things better, as to not allow the same events to reoccur. The UN was formed to prevent conflicts on a global scale such as WWII, and the US constitution was formed by men who were inspired by freedom to change the way of life for future generations for the better.

You could argue that the reason why these people create art or music is to make money, and to make more money than those they "compete" against in their particular industry. I think that this mentality ties into my OP on manipulation. If we indeed are being manipulated, then the manipulators are using our primal instincts, such as competition as a form of control. Much like marketers use sex (a primal instinct) to sell us their products.

Look at capitalism. Do you think that capitalism is a successful and non-corrupt system? If you said no than you are correct. This is because 90% of the worlds wealth resides in a handful of people. This is an undeniable fact. The injustices across the world and the thousands of children that die daily due to disease and starvation is not natures intention. The world can and will change for the better. Humans are capable of much more than just what their instincts dictate to them. We are spiritual beings.

This video below is a short segment where the late Bill Hicks briefly touches upon how the world is run by a group of elite;

A brief sidetrack regarding my personal experiences. I originally wanted to be a game designer, as video games have been a passion for me growing up. When I got to college excited and full of new ideas and inspiration, it soon diminished when I was being indoctrinated into the Capitalist competitive mindset. I was not allowed to think outside of the box in terms of creativity and new ideas unless they would increase the number of copies the game sold.

The video game industry is like any other industry. They target a demographic much like a movie company does. They create games purely for profit, and they don't create amazing games that would blow everyone's minds, they just do enough work and effort to make a projected profit and meet certain deadlines. This is a fact as I have had first hand experience with those inside the industry, and any other industry in a Capitalist system is the same. Minimize spending, maximize profit. Eliminate money from the equation and you get limitless possibilities and inspiration.

It is my conclusion that competition (aka capitalism) is good for a primitive or animal organism to help the process of natural selection along . However, when a species reaches maturity (like a fruit ripens on a tree) then it is time to use all what we have learned to better ourselves and our species as a whole. Having the same mindset as an ape when I am an evolved and concsious being, in my opinion, is not as logical in the long-term survival of a species as having a collective group mindset for all of mankind and the earth and its organisms.

Although I agree with some of your points, I think our perspective on the whole differs. I see things from a more spiritual and metaphysical level, whereas you see things in a very physical and scientifically explainable level. Not that either perspective is wrong, it is the combination of the two that will lead us to the truth.
