just my humble opinion - but only retards get lost in such simple terrain as rural conneticut
with a USGS 1:50000 topo map , a good compass and basic navigations skills its impossible to get lost - throw in a GPS handset and spre batteries and you have a saftey net
trouble is that idiots dont bother with any navigation equipment or training
