I agree with you on most of what you said, but the problem is that the system has been ursurped, and slowly dismantled with Socialist programs, and the current administration is making the change faster than any other.

Both parties are to blame for this. the Republican Party does not represent anymore what a real Republican is, and they are not standing up to defend the Constitution, and every right given to us by the forefathers of this great Republic.

There are only a few people in power who are still trying to fight for the Republic, but they are few indeed.

I agree, these programs are terrible for America because it just feeds the Behemoth in Washington. Bush and the Republicans started this. Bush had a Republican House and Senate and they borrowed and spent us into oblivion.

Obama is a twin of Bush when it comes to the economy and he wants to put his social programs in place.

The problem is Government. We can't sustain their massive spending much longer because the jobs needed to sustain these things will not be there.

Obama always talks about the collective. When he gave the speech at ASU he told them to go work for a non-profit and do some volunteer work. Is he kidding? These students just spent thousands of dollars on an education to get a career for themselves not the collective. Once they have a good job or they start a business then they are in a better position to help others.

Obama signs million dollar book deals and eats 100 a pound Kobe Beef in the White House but these kids and everyone else has to suffer for the collective.

If you have 2 people struggling how is that going to help anyone? If one person gets a good job and career, then they are in a position to help the person that's struggling. If everyone works for a non profit, how will the non profit operate without those who go out and make millions of dollars?

I still have the first stumulus check from last year and the one from this year will go into the bank too. along with what money i can save from my disability checks.

Why because i am keeping them to pay the taxes the fed and state are going to dump on us.

When you live on a fixed disability check each month and are faced with a unknown like the Obama administration and a state and federal government that are trying to tax everything all you can do is hoard your money encase you need it to pay taxes.

The administration has no idea what they are really doing to the fixed income people that have no idea what the administration will do next

I must be missing something here.

How can you spend what you don't have?

The answer to that question used to be credit. Americans were encouraged to go out and buy what ever they wanted and pay no heed to how it would be paid for.

As long as you had your dandy little credit card you had it made.

Well they have put Americans our of work, they have jacked up the interest rates on those nifty little cards making it impossible to pay back the money already borrowed and cut off the supply of credit for any future purchases.

So how in the name of anything that is holy are the American people supposed to kick start the economy? With what?

It is like hog tying a horse and expecting it to win the Kentucky Derby.

Nobody can be this stupid so it has to be joke.,
