The US constitution and the branches of government created were written with the specific intent of making "change" a slow and well reviewed process. The people were specifically seperated from direct abaility to change laws "instantly" when overcome by some passing "passion". An incident of any kind could not without long debate and delay be inplemented into law. So the normal operation of the US government and the "slow wheels of justice" provide a buffer from reactionary change to law or constitution.

Enter Obama, sweeping on the american political landscape like a spring storm. Screaming "Hope and Change". Yet 66 million of the electorate did not vote for him. Their values and convictions differing sharply from Obama's.

Within a short 100 days obama has set into motion what many of those 66 million see as extreme radical ideas. He has taken over private industry (banks, GM, Chrysler) beginning the take over of health care, spending trillions of future tax income for generations, bowing to saudi princes, appologizing for just about everything america has ever done in the world. He's pushing forth a global warming agenda that many KNOW is false. He is seeking backdoor gun bans through international treatys. Has created abject FEAR in many of the 66 million and beyond of how fast he is moving. He is openly speaking to many long time enemies of america as if they were allies.

Day after day the storm he creates gets larger with many asking where will it end. Is america heading for socialisim? Communisim? Total control of every aspect of the american peoples lives?

Or is obama marching toward tyranny? Can he through all these many actions create such a climate of hate, fear and anger that there will be open rebellion? Can he create enough anarchy to declare himself "dictator" to save amreica from another civil war?

The left is already promoting the idea that a civil war will be led somehow by the republican party and "redneck bubba's"...

But now, only four weeks into the presidency of Barack Obama, they are back -- angrier and more chest-beating than ever. Actually, the mere threat of an Obama presidency was enough to revitalize them from their eight-year slumber, awaken them from their camouflaged, well-armed suburban caves. The disturbingly ugly atmosphere that marked virtually every Sarah Palin rally had its roots in this cultural resentment, which is why her fear-mongering cultural warnings about Obama's exotic, threatening otherness -- he's a Muslim-loving, Terrorist-embracing, Rev.-Wright-following Marxist: who is the real Barack Obama? -- resonated so stingingly with the rabid lynch mobs that cheered her on.

www.salon.com...

Obama knows all too well that real american governmental process are too slow for him to rise to total global power if left to normal channels. All that he is doing is to creat total anarchy so the "people" just as they did in ancient rome will declare Obama......"dictator" for life..............

your right my friend, obama will constrict the American population.
he never said what change they fight for, or who they will stop.
the answers are these, the change is the change of government into a totalitarian regime, and the people they are resisting, are the citizens that refuse to be slaves!

After becoming aware of Pelosi's "situation" I wondered whether or not the revolt so many speak of will come from the political implosion that is inevitable due to her accusations that the CIA misled her. Is a coup occurring? The political system is under attack, and these characters are the impetus leading to a complete breakdown.

I don't think a revolution will come from the citizen sector anymore. Its coming in the form of a collapsing political system. Of course, I could be entirely wrong, its just a hunch.

Noooo...
This would be Hilary's title; except of course, changing it to Princess or perhaps Queen.

It does not matter who is president. I actually admire this one for his oratorial expertise and chesire grin. Quite the change from the last one.....eh..
Orders are given and strings are pulled by call this group what you will.
Those who golf have personal caddies.

The term Princess connotates some form of innocence. I'd go for Evil Queen or something to the effect.

Obama won the election. True, he won by 7%, not exactly a sweeping win, but the man won the election nevertheless. Get over it.

Within a short 100 days obama has set into motion what many of those 66 million see as extreme radical ideas.

Now your falsely implicating the 66 million who didnt vote for him as marching readily behind the rightwing fringe mob, yet come tea day on april 15th not even 1% of that amount could be accounted for. Not to mention that all 66 million didnt necessarily follow in line with the OPs complaining. The OP obviously cant account for this 66 million who agree with him, he just bases it off election day.

He has taken over private industry (banks, GM, Chrysler) beginning the take over of health care, spending trillions of future tax income for generations,

After the $4 trillion mess left by the "fiscally responsible" conservatives, to which the OP probably kept his mouth shut, this new government is having to come in and clean up the mess, the reinvest in america itself.

The concerns regarding the stimulus and its size, which is understanable to an extent, is nevertheless a pointless argument with fringers such as the OP. If the president Obama did nothing like the do-nothing rightwing there would be triple the amount of posts complaining about him "doing nothing", not to mention their "no solution" solutions.

bowing to saudi princes

The rightwing first went on about the man not bowing enough to the Queen, then they complain about him bowing too much to the Saudi king. The only people really concerned about this BS regarding him bowing are a small faction of rightwing fringers who spend all day smearing the man in anycare. These are not real concerns, just more partisan bickering folks.

www.spirituallysmart.com...

Yes they'll deny not caring, but they kept their mouths shut then.

appologizing for just about everything america has ever done in the world.

Damn straight he apologized. His having to apologize on behalf of most of the rightwing fringe groups who are so indenial of the lies their leaders carried forth over the last 8years. His still having to apologize for people like the OP, despite their denial.

Look at the world, look at where the world stands. The rightwing fringe and the left of that spectrum. You will see pockets of middle and south america being rightwing fringe, and the rest of the world moving with the times. The fringe can deny all they want, but beyond these United states their BS doesnt fly.

He is openly speaking to many long time enemies of america as if they were allies.

Yes because lord knows invading every damn nation we dont agree with is the only solution. Diplomacy is the best way and the starter solution before anything else. The cowboy tactic that failed the last administration, one that is outdated, one that the OP readily agrees with, is one only the ignorant would advocate. Had it been the 80s when Reagan began diplomacy, the OP's comments here would have applied verymuch then. But then again hypocrisy isnt a very mindful matter by the OP.

Is america heading for socialisim? Communisim?

Im sorry is it 1960s? Are we hunting for commies again? Its the 21st century for petes sakes. Could you just grow up and move with the times? Come up with real arguments instead of outdated accusations.

People like the OP had 8years of their crap being spewed over america, whether it be through politics, the economy or the military, and look where it lead the nation. This garbage doesnt fly anymore.

Sadly, you are suffering from a Kool-Aid over-dose. Please set down your glass for a moment, open your eyes and take a long drink from the cup of truth. I assure you that it will be both refreshing and empowering.

And... if I remember correctly, Hitler was also supported by a "majority" of Germans!

Im sorry this is it? This is all you have to say in reply? Is this the result of you having nothing further to back the garbage posted by the OP?

Really if the only excuses you folks got beyond "socialism" is "kool-aid" well then my job is done here. Really good luck trying to get to folks behind that computer screen of yours, sure as hell helped make anything happen over the last few months.

There is more crapola and plain misconstrued information in this thread to not even bother trying shoveling it all back.

Seriously, do yourselves a favor and stop listening to Right Wing media.

Which job is that Southern Guardian? The job of speaking for an entire country which you imagine you represent? What exactly is your agenda? You are so full of hate and arrogance it is apparent that rational thought eluded you some time ago. You are so fixed on your ideals that I doubt you have the ability to achieve reason. Spewing your hate and frustration while imagining that it represents the majority of America does nothing to further the discussion.

Wow, are those answers in a book somewhere, or a fax? Blah, Blah, Blah. The point here is that a big revolt is brewing. How big is based on how far Obama, Pelosi and Reid will go.........

The King of England in the 1770's had far LESS control of america than Obama is currently setting up. No even Hugo Chavez moved this quickly to enslave the peasants.............

All that the left has feared for years is going to happen because of thier own agenda. Total anarchy will happen...........and Obama is just waiting for the opportunity to declare his position as dictator for life.

Why is it that all these anti-Obama threads are started by the same three or four people? Does anyone else find that odd? Seems to me that certain people on here have a personal beef.....

Are they? I hadn't noticed that correllation. Maybe certain people want to get other people's attention on the subject like every other post on ATS?

They absolutely are. There is a specific group of posters on here who start these threads and then attack anyone who disagrees, saying they drink the kool-aid, they are brainwashed, etc....

When faced with factual information, they immediately take it personal. It is a fairly prominent trend.

Well, I'm here for the fun and mind expansion exercises. I love to learn - even if it is the hard way. Perhaps my own ideas will be reshaped, perhaps not. But I'm new to ATS and not yet aware of the underground politics of it all. Aside from all of that, I just love to hear what the personal views on various topics are by an assortment of "thinkers".

I am not an obama supporter, I am not someone who thinks he is infallable. I just find it pretty sad that people have that much hate toward someone that they continue to shovel out this drivel.

It's one thing to state your opinion and back it up.

It's a whole other to state something, thing simply attack anyone who challenges it, as opposed to backing up what is said.

I'm pretty much going to say this in every thread that mentions socialism: Socialist nations were the happiest nations in the world, and America was not even in the top 10.

Socialism is superior.
