Huge attack on free speech!

www.foxnews.com...

Two U.S. congressmen have proposed legislation to label as terrorist organizations satellite providers of incendiary television stations -- the latest attempt by lawmakers to prevent radical anti-American propaganda from hitting the airwaves, even abroad.

Wow, everyday there is some new news that the government is trying to do something crazy.

No wonder I lost faith in them along time ago.

Either someone is having too much and sex and its hit the cerebral cortex or someone is just not having any sex at all.

This beginning to get ridiculous.

That is hilarious, that is hilarious. VOA are the real terrorists

Our media is garbage. Let me give you an example:
For example, the closing of Guantanamo Bay was paraded all over the headlines in mainstream media. However, the fine print was left out by this mainstream media. That is, some prisoners will never get habeaus corpus and some will never go on trial. So pretty much Guantanamo Bay was only closed in name, since a category of prisoners will be held indefinately at military facilities, never be put on trial and never released. Thus it was only a national security PR. (For those who don't know, there are two other categories that the prisoners will fall into, 1 category of prisoners will have the same rights as American citizens and be tried in normal courts, the second category of prisoners will be tried in special military courts set up to guard national security information, which is no different than Bush policies and is actually ironic since our courts do have systems set up to protect classified information. So, Obama claims that he does not torture but has this been verified? Do we have access to these inmates to see if the torture has stopped?(and it is not even a matter of national security since they have the option of behind glass interviews with audio delay in interviews with the media, in the same manner that some of the guantanamo trials were conducted). Furthermore, Adnan Abdul Latif, who is a current detainee at Guantanamo, wrote a letter to his lawyer claiming abuse is continuing under the Obama administration. The letter said "oppression has increased, torture has increased and insults have increased." Once again this was ignored by our media, but covered by foreign media. Our media did not even invetigate, let alone mention the claim So just because our president claims something is true, we must assume it is. Is this how our democracy operates?

A free media is crucial for the peoples security.

America is a police state!! Our leaders support the rape and murder of children! My god, what can we do about this?

What do you think the German populous was thinking when they started herding Jews into the Ghetto? I suspect they were a lot like the US populous is now “Placated and indifferent”.
