I read a bumper sticker a couple of years ago, a day after I had had a close miss, I was driving along a dark tree lined road on my way back to Namibia from South Africa as the sun was setting, it was raining and I didn't know the road very well. Driving faster than the limit I hit a pool of water on the road and my car started planing, I had no control over it, suddenly I could make out a curve in the road and knew that I wasn't going to be able to make it. Somehow the car started slowing and I ended up on the verge about a metre away from a deep ditch! I sat for a while calming myself down and then continued on home.
The following day driving into a parkade I saw a parked van with bumper sticker on it that read

"NEVER DRIVE FASTER THAN YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL CAN FLY!"

Since that day I never have!
