Has swine flu taught us something about potential mass hysteria, in relation to alien disclosure?

Its all about the media coverage and the way they cover the subject. If its a one off news article its fine. But if the subject is covered each and everyday people will start panicking, especially if the news can be portrayed as bad.

Prove it. They just get sick of hearing of it.

The news is bad. But it won't be so bad here. Maybe a culture change can be initiated to do something like China, were people wear masks when they are sick. But this flu hits people too hard for that to be likely, because they are in their house when they are that sick.

There is no hysteria. No matter how many times you claim that people are hysterical will not make it so.
