Bill of Rights Tattoo

Topic started on 22-2-2009 @ 08:48 PM by Tentickles

So I have decided to get the whole Bill of Rights tattooed on my left arm.
I am doing this as a show of respect to our founding fathers and my belief that the Bill of Rights is the most simplified and most important of laws that us Americans should follow.

I would love to hear everyone's opinions on my decision.

I will post pictures of the finished product, when finished.

That's a cool idea. I like it. Not sure if I would get it on my arm though. If I did it, I would get it done on my side. Might not be a good idea, with the way things are headed, to have you inalienable rights there for all to see. Govt's generally do not like anyone knowing about those to begin with.

Oh, wait, what was I talking about?? I thought American Idol just started.

haha

That would be cool I guess.I'd like to see it when it's done.I just hope you don't have to update. Like add new amendments or blank out the ones that they nullify. You know that it's all about "change" now!

I agree with Contagion2012 & daddyroo45.

It is not a good thing to put a label on you... be free!
Plus although i like tatoos i would never put one one me.
I am not religius but if i was intended to have a tatoo
it would be there by ....birth!

Why not make a bunch of stickers and put it on your car your house or the streets even?!

Tisk, tisk.

These are the best RIGHTS.

Laws are ordered by governments.

You are BORN with rights.

The government seems to think laws are more important than our rights these days so I am referring to them as laws.

It'll hurt the depressions feelings.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but said tattoo won't fit. The level of detail would be too much to last anymore than about 3 years. At that time it would be too blurry to make out what it says. Now if you would like to make a design that represents the bill of rights I am sure I can come up with a few. This below is my myspace if you have any questions let me know.

I would love to see your interpretations! I have a few tattoos already and am always looking to add new stuff.
Here's my first (very geeky) tattoo dedicated to my love of Fallout 1-3:

The picture distorts it alittle but I heart my tattoos.

My older brother gave me a tattoo when I was 12 years old. My parents were pissed to say the least. I wish it had never happened.

My body is a temple and no temple should be sprayed with graffiti.

Your body is a temple as well and if you want to add a splash of color, that is your right. It is after all your temple.

Get the tattoo and remember for all of your life what was promised, but never delivered.

The struggle of mankind for higher idea's has always inspired me.

The reality of what we've accomplished has usually left me in tears.

There is but one temple in this world, The temple of yourself. If you can't honor that.....

Grab a can of spray paint and go crazy.

I thought there was a new law involving tattooing.
That was strange cause Obama is coming out with new restrictions
on Wall Street.

I havent heard of any law about it?

I'll update though, still plan on getting the tattoo, with 2 or three others in the works as well.

Just dont have the money to do it right now.
