Electrical, hydrogen, and ionic pulse. Three different sources of power. All being clean, safe, and Green. Don't forget about solar energy. Solar panels can be built around the body of the car/suv/truck/motorcycle for additional power, performance and battery life. If this happens then billions of people will buy, millions of jobs will become available and billions of dollars will be made.

Good points, except about a decade too late! Who is going to be left to buy these cars? How can billions buy cars when they are losing their homes???

I think you're right, it pretty well is too late.

We know what the auto industry is capable of if they (were allowed). Just think of WWII and the war machines pumped out of our plants 24x7. Who says they have to continue to make cars? If they aren't allowed to acknowledge the technology that exists to make vehicles ten times more efficient, then make something else.

Of course that be the easy answer. But I think their hands are tied that way too. They'd have to fabricate something as equally inefficient but still in demand.

For instance they couldn't very well be retrofitted/updated to go into mass wind-turbine/solar panel generating plants.

Yes, the product would be in great demand from the public, even enough so to potentially create an enormous amount of new jobs. However, the newly adapted industry would be in direct competition with the energy industry and as I said prior, that is the most important thing.

I suppose you all are right, I guess it is a tad bit too late.

Yet people who were pushing for greener/cleaner energy as well as taking an anti-consumerist stance &c. 10-20 years ago were derided as idiots, nut-jobs, scaremongers and even communists for questioning materialistic lifestyles.

America's relationship with cars has always been something that has never made any sense to me. I remember being told around 1997 or 1998 that I just didn't get 'the American lifestyle' or 'the American dream'. The problem is, I did get it; the person telling otherwise was the one that didn't get it.

The problem I have with hybrid cars, is who can afford them, Obama is beholden to the environmentalist backers like, Soros, Obama pushed for ethanol here in Illinois,

Guess what, no one wanted it, many cars could not run on it and farmers that planted field after field of corn for it were left sitting on the corn that's another subject,
www.ethanolproducer.com...
www.guardian.co.uk...

Farmers in the region, who had negotiated those contracts when corn prices were near $6 per bushel, faced a different market reality when the December ruling came down: corn prices in the range of $2.75 per bushel.

Anyway with the economy the way it is, how many of us can afford a nice new hybrid car?

www.automotive.com...

Lets talk common sense, this crisis was manufactured, Mauice Strong another environmental guru, threatened it years ago. Who now lives in China BTW.
online.wsj.com...

Soros did it in England
www.investopedia.com...

Obama wants to turn us into a third world country, he said during the campaign, why should American be well off while the rest of the world suffers, all the while, Obama Serves Wagyu Steak Dinner In Whitehouse, Cost Of Steak $125.00 Per Pound

Anyway this is really not very informative, while I am sitting on the real juicy Soros, Obama, Strong conspiracy, I will try to post info today, if anyone is interested.

Everything he touches turns to crap,

Yes he is a socialist commie, but remember the leader eats well while the people starve.

Many topics I started to inform people, all truth, yet only a handful of responses to my topics, in some instances no feed back from people on this forum what so ever, it was not political motivation, or racism, it was a warning, yet no one wanted to hear it.

No wonder Obama cried when the stimulus bill passed, if it had not passed, his head would roll.

The king maker can make them and break them.

Think, Maurice Strong, 9/11, Strong has a lot of terrorist allies, his strong hatred for Bush, because of Bush's refusal to join Kyoto, allied with MSM with a smear campaign against GW it is a conspiracy, with in a conspiracy, with it a conspiracy.

combine it with the fanatical religion of environmentalism

and their New Age Temple

The Trilateral Commission recently published book, Beyond Interdependence: The Meshing Of the WorId's Economy and the Earth's Ecology. Rockefeller wrote the foreword and Maurice Strong wrote the introduction, saying in part:

"This book couldn't appear at a better time, with the preparation for the Earth Summit moving into gear... it will help guide decisions that will literally determine the fate of the earth... Rio will have the political capacity to produce the basic changes needed in our international economic agendas and in our institutions of governance."

Strong has established what could be the global headquarters for the New Age movement in the San Luis Valley of Colorado at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Crestone, Colorado. He and his occultic wife, Hanne, call the Baca an international spiritual community which they hope will serve as a model for the way the world should be if humankind is to survive - a sort of United Nations of religious beliefs. The Baca (as the center is called) is replete with monasteries; the Haidakhrndi Universal Ashram, a Vedic temple where devotees worship the Vedic mother goddess; amulet-carrying Native American shamans; a $175,000 solar-powered Hindu temple; a mustard-yellow tower called a ziggurat; a subterranean Zen Buddhist center complete with a computer and organic gardens; a house full of thousands of crystals; and even Shirley MacLaine and her New Age followers.

You may not think this is all connected but it is.

Much of the above information about the Strong and the Baca comes from an interview entitled "The Wizard Of the Baca Grande," which Maurice Strong conducted with WEST magazine of Alberta, Canada May 1990. Strong concluded the interview with a thought provoking, apocalyptic story from a novel he says he would like to write:

"Each year the World Economic Forum convenes in Davos, Switzerland. Over a thousand CEOs, prime ministers, finance ministers, and leading academics gather in February to attend meetings and set the economic agendas for the year ahead.

What if a small group of these word leaders were to conclude that the principle risk to the earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment. Will they do it? Will the rich countries agree to reduce their impact on the environment? Will they agree to save the earth?

The group's conclusion is 'no.' The rich countries won't do it. They won't change. So, in order to save the planet, the group decides: isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?

This group of world leaders form a secret society to bring about a world collapse. It's February. They're all at Davos. These aren't terrorists - they're world leaders. They have positioned themselves in the world's commodity and stock markets. They've engineered, using their access to stock exchanges, and computers, and gold supplies, a panic. Then they prevent the markets from closing. They jam the gears. They have mercenaries who hold the rest of the world leaders at Davros as hostage. The markets can't close. The rich countries...?" and Strong makes a slight motion with his fingers as if he were flicking a cigarette butt out of the window.

I sat there spellbound. This is not any story-teller talking. This is Maurice Strong. He knows these world leaders. He is, in fact, co-chairman of the Council of the World Economic Forum. He sits at the fulcrum of power. He is in a position to do it.

No one is going to buy vehicles that use a commodity that is unstable for its fuel plus pay 40 grand for a vehicle that is 90 percent forign parts and 10 percent American label.

Cheers!!!!

If it is all not a myth, this might just be what the auto industry needs to pull these secrets out of the vault. At last though I do not think they exists.

Maurice Strong & George Soros Team Up to Sell Chinese Cars in US

If you are not familiar with Maurice Strong, you really ought to be.

He is the former UN diplomat who went missing last year when reports came out that he had skimmed $1 million from the Oil for Food Program, he also is the architect of the Kyoto Protocol, and once said, "For humanity to survive, it may be necessary for industrial civilization to collapse."

There is a great write-up on this very colorful former Kofi sidekick, who recently surfaced alive and kicking in Beijing after being on the run from the FBI, at Canada Free Press today.

There is also news that Maurice Strong and George Soros are going to push "cheap" Chinese cars on the US next year.

The dynamic duo of Maurice Strong and George Soros aim to flood the American market with "cheap" Chinese made cars - The Chery. The cars go for $3,600 in China. They will sell for around $20,000 here in the United States.

Strong and Soros hope to decimate Ford, Chrysler and GM by flooding the U.S. market with Cherys in 2007.

gatewaypundit.blogspot.com...

20,000?

Well nix that Idea now, I don't believe this is all about housing, this was a manufactured crisis it went world wide, and it got out of control and now they cannot reign it back in.

Maybe the didn't take into account that the little guy who plays the market would have such a huge impact when they quit playing, because they now don't trust it.

OH well, just musings, but we have more control over the situation then one imagines,

Shut'er down baby, shut'er down, don't buy, don't drive, don't work, don't sell, don't turn on the heat or electricity, or run the water

Imagine what would happen if in protest people in America just stayed home Monday,

Shut the whloe country down in peaceful protest by not doing a thing, no buying, no selling, no working, nada,

Of course the liberal supporters will not comply, but if even a few million did it would have a huge impact.

Once a month stay home protest.

what a life'

"
And do you understand what would happen if GM and Chrysler would be allowed to go under? 47,000 jobs now...if they went under, we're talking MILLIONS of jobs and most likely push the country into a depression."

Man it is too late. we are pretty much there.

Also If you keep pumping money into failing business's you are just throwing it away. If you screw up your business you lose your business no matter how huge it is.

I have a serious problem with lighting tax payers money on fire in an "attempt" to save the economy.

Yes, don't you know that we were called the "throw away society?"

Well, I have in my life been a materialistic person, a bit of a hedonist. But that all changed for me later.

Not all of America is this way. Many ARE down to earth, but unfortunately, we are all compared to Los Angeles, which is where I was from! Now, talk about being only "one or two layers - hairspray deep," that is LA, and Orange County.
