It is not about out of focus Venus, but it is about MOVING VENUS IN THE FRAME IN 3 MINUTES! A QUARTER OF THE FRAME! With calculations needed. So you should read!

What do you want? to copy/paste those posts here?

It is Venus.
Moving in the frame. Like in the aother topic with calculations.
But defocused too (like in my other youtube experiments, check on this topic or in my signature)
And two dead pixels as "stars"

I own a telescope I OWN A TELESCOPE.. sorry wanted to point that part out.,

I DONT NEED A THREAD TO TELL ME JACK about IN FOCUS OR OUT OF FOCUS.,,

becouse "barabing" im not stupid...

kinda simple.

what is the probability of you being alive ?

and you find orbs in space odd?

Here we have Venus. You just not read it. I agree, it is fun to play with telescope, but extremely boring to read some text, calculations, experiments, whatever...

I can deduce now you have really some problems:
You don't recognise DEFOCUSED images
You don't know too much about dead pixels (thinking they are stars)
You should know, as telescope owner, that greater the magnification (zoom), the greater is the speed of the star/planet moving away from the field of view
You should know, as telescope owner, that stars and planets may appear having brightness variations. It is called "atmospheric scintillation".

The is one of the worst junk and pointless videos I have ever seen.

You just can't get anywhere with the video.

I'm putting this next to the GFL OCTOBER Spaceship.

Well now you know what to look for next time.

There have been countless posts just like yours posted here on ATS, so you can understand the frustration people have when they see another one pop up.

I recommend the search function next time, because 9 times out of ten the next youtube video you post will already have been discussed at least once at some stage over the years.

ATS is a huge, open free resource for you to use.

Take advantage of it!

and for the People saying this is Venus How in the heck can you KNOW this from a video ?? It might be Jupiter.. hell for all I know It is just an out of focus light in the sky, but I still can't explain the RATE of Speed of the Object vs. the background stars in Relation to Earth Revolving over the WHOLE 10 minutes of the film..
Also the background stars seem to be in focus the whole length of the video but the object in question is still out of focus[how can this be if it is Venus]

and please if you are going to refer to out of focus lens,or dead pixels...Can you please explain how these errors in the Camera could account for the ABOVE observations in the film

Ooh sweet a video of Venus...

I just double checked stellarium to see Where Venus was that night and it was not Venus!!!! Venus set on the horizon in the early evening that night .... If it was Venus we would see the moon in the video. RIGHT?

no all the youtube poster said was the night of Jan. 31 2009 in Australia, I should try and post him through the comments section at Youtube: I used a generic Australian spot on Stellarium to see where Venus was in the sky and where it was in relation to the Moon

Erm that's not really going to cut it is it?
Pretty poor effort at research in fact.

Why?

Venus in the sky from the west coast of Australia on the night of the 31st Jan at 9pm WDST (Western Daylight Savings Time)



Venus in the sky from the east coast of Australia on the night of the 31st Jan at 9pm WDST



Well and truly set below the horizon.

If you can find the TIME, the DIRECTION and the LOCATION, then we can confirm if it's Venus or not.

Picking a random location, time and direction to strengthen your argument is not going to cut it around here mate.

I have also have had 2 ufo experiences in my life... those 2 sightings have helped shape my life thereafter...I only used Hynek's name in vain to reference the Famous debunking explanation of Swamp Gas to make a point...and I am aware he did a 180 degree turn on his stance of the UFO phenomenon in his later years.....
and I have no problem being wrong, because everytime I am...I advance my knowlege by finding out the correct answer

you are right about Venus setting on the Horizion later and this being ATS that won't cut it.. BUT I think the Moon was full in Australia on the 27th and being so close to Venus in the night sky..Wouldn't we see the moon in the video? If the object were Venus? I believe the YouTube poster said he was looking in a Southeast with the object moving West in the video at the 6:50 mark
