How to prevent oneself from becoming a ghost?

Never knew that about Tribal Warriors.
Ok, so what would happen, if they didn't cleanse themselves, and they died in war? Would that mean in Spirit form, they'd have a bunch of ghoulies following them in the afterlife too?! Or is it me just being totally silly and extreme, haha!

I'm a little curious as to where you got that info. I know that that logic doesn't apply to most anything else. Just wondering, because i 'll start making myself believe all sorts of cool that i can do when i die. It just seems like an odd belief.

I'm too white to know the exact answers you're looking for.

When I was reading about this it was a native man speculating that the US forces have such a high rate of PTSD because they do not have any kind of ceremony to cleanse themselves from battle. I think the impliation was that the dead spirits followed them, at least until that soldier also died.
