Since 1948 fewer than 12,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli action.
There have really only been two serious time periods of military conflict between the Palestinians and Israel.
1) 1987-1993 - The First Intifada - Approximately 1100 Palestinians killed and 160 Israelis

Both Israel and Palestinians have done terrible things to one another. However, as far as conflicts are concerned the conflict between the
Palestinians and Israel has been very low in overall casualties for the span of time in which the conflicts have raged.
