World War Three is well past its start. Israel has every right to defend itself against ongoing rocket attacks. Its surrounded by enemies.

I agree, Israel does have the right to defend itself. But the definition of defneding oneself or a nation defending itself does not mean outright genocidal killing sprees.

Israel's leadership is spouting ideas of using nukes and comparing this stuff to WWII and the US vs Japan. That my friend is obvious paranoia, and obviously calls into question of their mental state of mind.

Israel is also responsible for those attacks on them. It is not trivial or requires the use of a slide rule to know why they get rocket attacks and why the surrounding nations want to attack. Israel has oppressed and supressed an entire society and has nigged on promises and agreements just as the PLO in the past has and just as Hamas has in the present.

There are two sides to the story. Both are responsible, both are at fault, and the last thing that needs to be bandied about is using some nuclear weapon and justify it to an event that occured over 60 years ago, and under completely different circumstances that were far more of a threat than teeny tinny Gaza and Hamas.

They want to cure the disease by killing the paitent. Definately IMO is desperation of a genocidal mindset.

Cheers!!!!

Many organizations talk about using nukes. Iran, for instance, has threatened to wipe Israel off the map. That doesn't mean they are going to do it, only that they use irresponsible rhetoric.

Additionally, 1000 Palestinians isn't akin to genocide. If they wanted genocide they have the military means to annhilate Palestine, conventionally. This is a sustained military operation with legitimate military targets. Palestinian fighters are notorious for using innocents as human shields. Until a weapon is developed that can discriminate between innocent and guilty people will be killed that aren't responsible for any violence, its the nature of war. It's unrealistic to assume that everyone will just throw down their weapons all of a sudden in a conflict that is several milleniums old.

While comparison with Japan is a miserable one, the idea was not to threaten with a nuke. How can Israel nuke Gaza while it is 100 kilometers away from major Israeli cities (like capital). Or several kilometers from not so major ones.
The comparison (and i really do not want do defend Liberman since he is a "X"monger (x=war, fear and such) type of politician) is in what US did to Japanese leadership, behavior and diplomacy. From an Axis member it went to Ally side and is an example of real democracy.
So he wanted to say that Israel should strike Gaza hard and then install friendly government as US did to Japan in WW2. As all with Libermann - result is dubious.
I feel like devil's advocate.
