I removed the "th" from the url. I assume "th" means thumbnail. I get this:

This is the command to get the result above:
[ats]http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/4382/dscn0026pm2.jpg[/ats]

Hmmm. The picture is wider than 600 pixels... so it won't show the full picture on the page unless you resize it. But you can also resize it by command by typing this:

[ats=600x450]http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/4382/dscn0026pm2.jpg[/ats]

to get this:

To post pictures in posts, the command is:

[ats]link to image[/ats]

Note: ats-tags can only be used if you host the image yourself, like photobucket, uploadit.org, imageshack, etc. In other words, not hotlinked images from other sites.

It's also possible to post a "small" picture that links to a bigger one. Like this: I uploaded only one big picture, and the one that is posted in the thread has been resized to 600 pixels wide. Click the picture to see the full size version.

This command:

[url=http://premium1.uploadit.org/Hellmutt//S1051717-3072x2304.jpg] [ats=600x450]http://premium1.uploadit.org/Hellmutt//S1051717-3072x2304.jpg[/ats][/url]

...will give this result:

When you open your picture with the most photo-edit programs (photoshop, paintshop pro, paint, etc.) you should be able to see the size of your picture (i.e. 800x600). With the most common sizes (1024x768, 800x600, 3072x2304, 3648x2736, etc.), you can set the height to 450 to get the correct aspect ratio when choosing 600 as width. If your image is a different size, you might need to use a calculator, or resize it in your photo-edit program to see what the second value should be, when choosing 600 as the first value. [ats=600x450]

I would have never known and Don't laugh, but I just got a digital camera and stoll learning to use that as well....sigh
