Four years and counting. Merry christmas my friends.

It was four years ago this very night I was surfing the web and found a link to ATS. I never looked back.

I like to joke that Santa had run out of coal that night so he gave me to you. The truth is Santa gave me the most special gift imaginable, friends who understand me.

In the last four years I have learned things I could have never imagined on my own. I have learned of insights that others have shared that have honestly made my world a better place. I have been lifted to higher places and slapped down when I was being an idiot. I have enjoyed every minute of it though.

Thank you my friends for the lessons both good and bad. I look forward to what the future years may bring.

I have to "disagree" with you a little here Mr. Wupy...

I have to say that Santa gave the gift to ATS when you found us four years ago.

Your unique sort of peaceful reflection, considerate, deep thought and freely given intellectual produce is a rare thing in this world of instant gratification, extremely short attention spans and unrealistically high expectations/demands for return on very little investment of mental effort, research and or study of any sort.

The membership of AboveTopSecret is, IMHO, FAR AND AWAY representative of the Best and Brightest on the interwebs (and most likely everywhere else as well) and that my good man is because of people like YOU.

So, I say that Santa gave US the gift four years ago and I thank him for it tonight.
