Boy it's really hard to just pick out 5 songs....

Being a guitar player for a long time, I'll have to narrow it to songs that I like to listen to instead of the top 5 that I like to play.

1) Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen (As sung by Rufus Wainwright)

2) In a New York Minute by The Eagles

3) Redemption Song by Bob Marley

4) Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sanatra

5) Silence by Harlow

Cool post!!! Seeya!!!!

I have so many favorites, I can't really cram them down into 5, but I'll try....

1. The Crystal Ship - The Doors
I can't even explain what I feel about this song. Other than Morrison was an excellent song-writer and this was by far, hands down, his best song ever written. (Well I believe, anyway).

2. Melancholy Man - The Moody Blues
I heard this song for the first time last week on a road trip with my Dad, I loved it. And had to add it to my list.

3. Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
The first minute or so, is such powerful guitar playing...even though its just accoustic its awesome.

4. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - Led Zeppelin
This song is like a crescendo...it starts out slow and steady and then it gets loud and out of control at the end - def. my favorite Zeppelin song.

5. Come Together - The Beatles
Who doesn't like this song? I like the version by Joe Cocker as well.

6. Brown Sugar - The Rolling Stones
It was either Brown Sugar, or Satisfaction... both are great songs.

** I know you said 5....but I had to squeeze in The Rolling Stones...**

- Carrot
