I am not sure why you think they need to tilt forward
Its not like they have a 'thruster' pushing them

But if you study the reports you will indeed see there motion being rather erratic, sometimes flying in a wave pattern, or 'wobbling'

As for the triangle being ONLY ours? Well I can state that because of my insider info... AND the fact that no triangles were rerported in the early days of UFO sightings. After all that is why we called them 'flying saucers' in the first place.

As to effect and shape...

In physics (high school) they did the charged copper sphere and pith ball experiment. If the sphere had a negative charge and the ball a positive charge it would be attracted to the sphere. then you have other combinations.

However when you lowered the ball INTO the sphere there was no effect inside. The reason is the pull was equal from all side so it was canceled.

Now the same effect works on a sphere, a lens shape (or football shape) or a cylinder.

The ideal shape is a lens shape as the external effect is concentrated around the edge...

Here is your standard lens shape with a dome added... (from Area 51
)

This one is actually a bicycle... they have a weird sence of humor out here

Add a 'skirt' most likely to give them better stability in atmosphere and you have the standard 'flying saucer'

This one is a sphere with a skirt...

whereas something that looks like THIS is most likely a fake

they are round because you are seeing them from the ground. ships that you can see from the ground usually have round or saucer-like appearances, because that tends to be the best design for being in the atmosphere of a planet with their propulsion systems. if you want to go in any direction you wish in atmospheric conditions, round makes the most sense. your theory of ships taking on much different forms in space is correct. there are countless varieties of transport devices used throughout the vastness of space, many of which also tend to be round.
