Lets move forward, not backwards with racail remarks.
Let me tell you-as a white American woman I can remember when I was 12 years old going into a little town store in TN to get a frozen ice with my
friend Janice, who was black. The store owner kicked her out.She tried to tell me that she was not allowed in the store but I thought she was joking
with me.I didn't understand...I was 12 and I was sick to my stomach.
Last night I watched the counting of the votes and I was sweating because I was so nervous...I refused to believe the votes until I was sure(I
remember 2000).Now I feel what M.Obama meant months ago when she said for the first time she felt proud ..at the time I disapproved of her comment, but
now I know that was because I didn't understand.
I'm so proud that America finally grew up enough to look beyond race. For the first time in so many years I feel proud again of my country.Barrack
will never be as popular as he is right now..he will make mistakes and he will break promises, but him being our 44th president has already done so
much for us a a country.
God Bless America...at last,at last
