"Trickle-Up" Poverty: The New Economics of Barack Obama

michaelsavage.wnd.com

The liberal media talking heads are already proclaiming that a Barack Obama victory will be revolutionary. Revolutionary is right. The last great revolution took place in Russia. Within a year of the Russian Revolution in 1917, the communist leader Lenin brought the Russians change they could believe in.

There is every reason to believe that some kind of socialist revolution will occur under B.O. Bush has already imposed socialism on the banks, and Obama promises to do more of the same.

Last week Dr. Michael Savage coined the phrase,"trickle up poverty", to describe BO's socio-economic policy.

The phrase when then stolen by dozens of other media outlets, but not used my Jaun McCain during the last debate.

It goes without saying the Savage recieves a media blackout, but that does not mean that us in the alternative media should ignore this as well.

Over the course of 8 years, Commrade Jorje Bush has imposded a system of socialism for the rich. The bailout/nationalization of the United States financial sysestems, the United states have lost its way of fiscal life.

America was founded on the idea of freedom.
The Freedom to Fail
The Freedom to Succed

And here and now, this is not the case. These buisnesses took risks, risks that they did not succed in. Within the rules of the free market, and how capitolism works.

Here, you have the freedome to take risks, and you should have the freedom to fail. For most people, this is still the case.

In the case of the super-rich, this is no longer the case.

There is no debate amoung those who can observe with objectivity, that Bush has brought Socialism that has never before been seen in this country.

But, if we thought bush was bad, then it will only get worse from here.

Bush was socialism for the rich

BO and McShame are only going to bring this to the rest of America, only the speed of the spread of Socialism will differ.

If McShame gets elected, we will see more of the same that we got from Bush. A slow and terrible death, more socialism for the rich, more never ending forgien war, more raping of our boarders and language and culture.

If the unknown forigen sleeper, Barry, gets elected, this nation will change overnight in the political sense.

We have gotten a small taste of socialism, now the entire country will get a taste.

Bush brought Fiscal Socialism to America.
BO will bring Social Socialism to america, BO will bring medical socialism.

Get ready for the USSA

The United Socialist States of America...

Its been predetermined, one party rapes the treusery for a term, then the other party gets to rape the people for a turn.

Thats all.

Its all planed, Bush has so raped and destroyed out countries tresusry, that he had to bring socialism to our fiscal system, to cover for the mess he had allwoed.

Now its the Dems turn, McShame is just A fall guy, some put forth so he could take a beating, and not fight back, somone to make the Republican party look bad.

McShame isn't even trying, Juan WANTS the dems to win. He is basicly throwing the election.

So now its time for BO to rule.

Its the Dems turn to sack the treasury...
And, judgeing on how they have handeled the last 2 years, this is going to be an action packed presidential term...

Think of what we will see...
The surrender of US forces to an army with no Navy, no Tanks, no Airforce, no technology, we will surrender to to a bunch of people hiding in caves until they attempt to blow themselves up to get virgins...

In the next presidential term, we will see more fiscal socialism for EVERYONE, unlike how Commrade Bush only had socialism for the Rich, BO will bring the ideiology of socialism to EVERYONE.

The arivial of the Social Socialism. You ready for national healthcare? Better hope you don't get sick during a BO presidency... or for that matter, EVER again... once Americans helth care system becomes socialised, and destroyed, where will people go for FAST medical care... Mabye we Americans will pull a cannada, and runs south of the boarder to escape socialised medicine, and to get fast help.

Are you ready for Seceratary of State Bill Ayers?
You ready for Jessie Jackson, and Al Sharpton to be US Diplomats?
Are ready for the Nation of Islam to have thier presidentail canidate?
You ready for isreal to hang in the wind alone?
You ready for the rest of Americas buisnness to be destroyed....

Me either, but, its not like we have a choice, it has already been decided...

Its the dems turn...

Prepare for another term of presidential pilliaging...

Here is the way I see it. Trickle down was a failure...Meaning that the rich will NEVER give back to the poor...not in a quantity that makes a "Significant" difference. However, Trickle up may just work. Take from the rich...give to the poor...the poor are going to go out and spend that money by puting it right back into the pockets of the rich. Otherwise, if the poor only get poorer, who buys goods and services from the rich? NOBODY!

Look at all the talking points, and racist B.S. you're peddling here my friend!!

And yes your "Let's pick out a bunch of black people to pretend to put in the Obama admin" is racist.

Why do black people scare you so much? I'm white, they don't scare me in the least.

Seriously..

And to think that people actually listen to that Savage looney.

Going into this election I was for neither candidate. But, Obama definitely shows he has what it takes to be the commander in chief. Has better ideas, and is more rational in his decisions than McCain.

Oh, and taxation is a socialist concept PERIOD. No matter who it's done to. Didn't hear ya'll screaming "He's A SOCIALIST" at bush when he was giving breaks to the big oil companies and taxing the middle class (To "spread the wealth" to the fat-cats - which McCain will continue to do if elected). But now that there is a system to be put into place that helps the majority of America instead of the fat-cats, you cry Socialism????? Please........

Like I said a week ago... Desperate times.....Desperate times, INDEED.

Trickle up poverty makes about as much sense as trickle down economics. By that I mean, it doesn't exist and it doesn't work.

Don't believe this nonsense. Before you read this article, take an economics class or two. Read some books. Learn about how things really work.

Yep...
And like someone once said "Consider the source".
This savage guy has a few screws loose in my opinion.......

Just more of the same being spewed from the neo-con propaganda machine.

Too bad (for them) this time around, the majority of America sees this kind of dribble for what it truly is.

So, correct me if I am wrong, but the way I see it...what you believe is that if the poor were given money, via taxing the rich, that they would HORDE it like the rich? Come on now...if the poor get money, they will spend it before they could ever accumulate a penny of interest on it by placing it in any type of retirement/investment fund.

For the ones that do spend it... where does that money go to? It disappears?

*Edit:

And I also appreciate the affirmation that most people who vote the way they do is based off of ignorance. You think that all poor people are poor because they are too dumb to be rich.

Great way to look at things.

Money DOES NOT disappear! PERIOD! let the poor spend it however they want. If it's on drugs, guns, whatever...if it's not introduced back into the economy via the mainstream market, then it will resurface in the economy via the middle class that is selling black market items to the poor. Remember this: those in want seek out and take (whether they steal or buy)...Those not in want HORDE!

Additional response to your EDIT. No, You mix 2 things together in this remark. dumb and ignorant are 2 completely different things. You had it right at first....the poor are undereducated and thus ignorant of the issues, or how to even understand them in many cases. They are not DUMB, as they are survivalists....they find a way to stay alive...in their terms "another day...another dollar".

Exactly. So this economy theory of "trickle up poverty" is complete garbage. Extra taxes is not going to cause more poverty. Money will still be made. Demand and supply curves will adjust.

Some may squander the money, sure, and others will save it or use it for a better future. Not yours or my place to judge.

6 of one...half dozen of the other....not trying to be argumentative...just saying the we have tried 28 years of trickle down....so let's try trickle up...at least it's a different direction...maybe, just maybe, the lesson will be learned that the solution is somewhere in between....you know, where the truth actually lays.

Oh, so you agree with Obama's theory? I guess I am just confused by the title: "Trickle up poverty". It doesn't sound like demand-side economics. Sounds like they are saying poverty will trickle up... not money.

We had the kind of "bottom up" economics Obama talks about in the 1950's and 60's. The rich and corporations paid a little more in taxes and wages were raised for the lowest income groups. The result was a healthy and growing middle class and a shrinking underclass. There was less disparity in income than there is now, though the rich were still rich.

I'm citing here the economist Paul Krugman in his book, "The Conscience of a Liberal."

Obama is not proposing Soviet-style socialism. Just a return to the prosperity of the 50's and 60's.

Scary scary scary

Yes, I agree with Obama. But to call it trickle up poverty is not fair, because the rich will still have more than most, but less than they would have had. There is no reason that anyone needs to be a billionaire, but I can think of every good reason to ensure that poor be economically stimulated.
