It's a huge mix of Republicans and Democrats saying NO ..

I am just ashamed that so many voted yes.

Of course, my representative, Sanford Bishop from Georgia, would vote 'yes'.

He's got to go (has needed to for years), but he either runs unopposed or they put some idiot up against him who has no chance of winning.

Yes he is nothing more than a corporate whore, has been for many years, now is the chance to get rid of him.

I will E-mail him and tell him that if I have to run against him I will do it just to get his sorry arse out of the seat he is misusing.

Thank you for posting this. I was looking for this information earlier when the house.gov website was overloaded with folks doing the same. I made calls to all five reps in my state (oregon) and am happy to say that three voted no.

He's been my representative for 15 years I don't know how he keeps getting elected. Well, I do, but that's another story.....

Nice post. I am truly ashamed that only one of SC's Reps voted nay on the bailout.

I guess the Home builders and Bankers lobby had a hand in the Yay votes here.

When I went to make this thread, I actually did the same thing you did marg6043.

Stick with the link I found in my first post. We wouldn't want you voting out the wrong guys.

I would be very interested to see the financial statements on the ones that voted Yes. How many of them have holdings and 'blind' investments in the financial area? Yup, it would be very interesting!

I think this is transparency at it's finest.

Chris Cannon from Utah is one of those pandering types and it is evident in his voting. Where Matheson (D) and Bishop (R), voted against it, Chris Cannon (R)... Of course, voted (Y). It's easy to see who's bought and paid for and finally something to confirm the idiocy that is usually fairly discrete. Utah is one of those blackhole states. They have no reasoning and would vote for anyone "Republican" or "Conservative," regardless of the candidate in question or how corrupt or back and forth he is, for example Cannon.

I think it would be more likely those who oppose the tyranny of the bail-out be marked than those making it.

I may vote for you just for that.
