Jon Stewart: Bush Bailout Speech Just Like Iraq Speech (VIDEO)

www.huffingtonpost.com

Jon Stewart finds an eerie similarity between President Bush's big bailout speech and his Iraq invasion speech five years ago. "Those who do not study the past get an exciting opportunity to repeat it."

Oh man Jon Stewart always hits the mark and leaves me in stitches!

I cannot believe Bush would so blatantly use the same method for a speech like this. Its like he is following the guidelines from How to give a speech 101 to the letter while still acting like a freshman, lumbering along concentrating on pronouncing the hard words so carefully that he clearly doesn’t even know what he is saying.

It was awesome. It completely pointed out the method of using fear to push an agenda.

I was cracking up and rolling my eyes at the same time.

Same here. Nobody makes me laugh so consistantly like Jon Stewart!

I saw it and, if it wasn't so damn pathetic, it might be hilarious. The PTB must think we are all dolts! News flash: people are waking up to this B.S. at an exponential rate.

John Stewart is great and he always makes great points.

One of the things I found hilarious is the section of the show about the Iraq war called: "Mess'o'Potamia". Lol.

Really is amazing. Of course some of the speech was cut but the irony behind these two speeches seems too ironic to brush off as coincidence.

Its funny but also a bit unnerving since it shows the administration no longer cares if people notice how messed up they are.

Why arent they changing tactics?

Also notice than when he speaks to us (about dire consequences he and his friends had a hand in) its as though he doesnt even share in one iota of grief!

This man is amazing!

leave it to a satyrical news show to deliver actual news. it's hard to enlighten people on matters as diverse as this current crisis though.

just the other night i had an old friend drunkenly telling me i was naive and don't do any research...because i wasn't a supporter of john mccain. there's no exaggeration there, in fact, it was far more annoying than i can imagine you are...err...imagining it.

needless to say, when comedy is providing the only real truth in the msm, how can you expect narrow-minded people to believe the words of a "fake news show."
