OK, I've been on for a week, so I thought I should finally get around to this!

First off, I'd like to say that this is the best site ever! In the week I've been a member, I just can't stay off of it! It's like internet crack! myATS is now my homepage for my browser!

I found it quite by accident. I was doing a Google search for '2012 pole shift' and the next thing I know, I was an ATS addict!

My interests include Spirituality, 2012 (duh, as that's how I found this site), Politics and anything to do with understanding the universe we live in. I am a Scorpio, so I love to argue a point, as some of you have found out the hard way! All I ever ask is that you never talk to me like I'm a child, as this tends to lower my fangs. I am middle aged with a genius IQ, so you can see how that would tend to irk me. Some of you have already learned that as well!

My turn-offs are closed mindedness and ignorance. That's not to say that I know everything, and I have been known to go off half cocked, but I'll be the first to admit when I am wrong. I'll always concider your point before I comment on it. Basically, if you treat me with respect, I'll return the favor, even if I think you're full of it, but if you don't, game on!

I look forward to getting to know more of you better, and hope to see you out in the threads!

Here's an official welcome to you Jaxon, glad to have you on board. I am curious, did you lurk here for a while before signing up as a member? That seems to be the norm for most of us here. I read on this site for almost a year before I actually became a member, it is thought provoking and informative, you will meet some very intelligent and learned persons on this site. And many open minded here too!

Hey Jaxon, welcome to the site. I don't think anyone could really join this site without knowing how to argue to some extent. lol

the ATS Handbook can answer a lot of your questions about the site as well, it's quite informative and helpful if you have questions regarding your Avatar, Signature, or purchasing perks in the ATS Store.

Points are a valuable commodity around ATS and some members want to know how to gain points quickly. There are several ways to do this. One is to podcast, Podcasting if you don't already know is kind of like making your own little radio show about some subject that you’re interested in. Also contributing to TinWiki is a great way to make some points in a big hurry. Also by joining up with Twitter, you can get a lot of points right of the bat.

In BTS (our sister board) one can also find fun games and contests that are happening now, and also get you those points. By signing up with ATS you are automatically signed up for BTS as well, all you need to do is log in and join in the fun with the rest of us.

One should also familiarize themselves with the Terms And Conditions Of Use for proper ATS etiquette and site rules, this helps everyone avoid problems.
