GM, Ford, Chrysler know gas will be cheap again and
will keep building the same old designs.
Auto-Oil cartels are arm in arm.

The Cartel Think Tankers have the economy all figured out.
Cartels are international, or global if you will, and make 65mpg
cars where gas sales don't pay off.

What is a family of 3 or 4 going to do with that car? Or me I currently have a baby car seat and a toddler booster seat?

I could possibly have it for a 2nd car but how can we say the economy is bad or we are in a depression if people own and operate multiple vehicles?

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Gas mileage depends to a rather large degree on the driver. There are a lot of vehicles that could get significantly better mileage if people were just better aware of driving physics.

Really simple things like keeping the vehicle pulling , but allowing it to lose speed "naturally" as you climb a hill.

Avoiding powering all the way to the next red light, and having to use excessive braking.
