An Israeli cabinet minister has suggested Israel could kidnap Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad over threats he has made against the state.

Right, wrong or other wise, it's not going to happen.

It is nothing more than a little bit of the same chest thumping Ahmadinejad does "ALL THE TIME".

Does that make it right, no it does not.

Does it make it understandable, as a response, yepper's.

Remember folk's. just because something can be done, does not mean it should or will.

What if Adolph Hitler was kidnapped and brought to justice before any harm was done? How is this any different. He is preaching similar views and ideals. What if these are the extents they must take in order to prevent terror from occuring again. Who is to judge?

Think about it.

And I suppose the Iranian military is just going to roll out the red carpet and escort Israel right into Tehran, too?

Israel COULD do a lot of things:

1) STFU and let Iran have their nuclear energy under the watchful eye of the IAEA.

2) Let the IAEA start inspecting Israel too, and sign the NPT. yeah right.

3) Keep things the way they are now, so they can continue to have their cake and it too.

4) Do limited strikes on all things nuclear in Iran

5) Just say screw it and nuke everything they can in Iran. They were probably looking for a reason to update their aging nuclear stockpile anyway. :shk:

You sound so convincing that the readers may think you are 100% sure of your thesis But I suggest never say never since you mat not want to eat your hat one day.

You know (or not!), Rafi Eitan became known to the Israeli public only through one of the operations he was managing in his past. That one was about the capturing of the German Adolph Eichmann in Argentina and smuggling him to Israel to face a an Israeli law court for his responsibility of planing and participating in the "Final Solution", latter he was hanged and burnt to ashes that were never buried properly.

Mr. Eitan is old now but very clear with his mind, What ever he has done in favor of Israel may be published in a 100 years from now, yet I do not have the slightest doubt that his remarks about kidnapping the Iranian President should help Ahmadinejad in any way. Your remarks, per my understanding and knowledge, is that you just do not really know what you are writing about (at least with this case, and I d not wish to being offending you!)

Still, you're fully entitled to make your own thinking but remember that you do not count in this matter.

Think about it reasonably, now.

If the President of Iran disappears/is kidnapped, it would be a major international incident.

If he were put on trail in Israel, right, wrong or other wise, there would be all out war between the two countries, perhaps more.

They are not stupid, contrary to some people beliefs.

He will be kidnapped right after Israel is wiped off the face of the earth, get it?

... didn't take long, because THERE'S NO SIMILARITIES BETWEEN AHMEDINEJAD AND HITLER.

Iran has Jews living in its borders and they're not being rounded up... it's ISRAEL that Iran is cautious of, not the Jewish faith.

This garbage isn't worthy of ATS, and sure as heck shouldn't have been permitted as an anonymous post.

Sure, he shouts his mouth off, I wouldn't mind shutting Ahmedinejad up myself, I can think of a few body parts to do it with... but there really aren't similarities between the two...

and attempting to make links between the two is a blatant attempt to sidetrack the tread and seed propaganda.


This anonymous posting concept is becoming a very bad idea.

Hitler is different,
Germany was down and out when he came along, he revived them.
IF we had of kidnapped Hitler in the begining, the Germans would not of risen up and done anything.

Frankly, they were people following the man, they were on the edge every time he spoke

where as Ahmadinejad?

The people that follow him follow the koran.
They arent following him, he just speaks the word from the ayatollah

If we kidnap him, the Ayatollah will declare a holy war, and then thats it.

theres stark difference.

Secondly,

We, as in the corporate controlled isreali influenced left, cannot just go and kidnapp another countries leader, im pretty sure thats an act of war.
