the webcam appears to be broadcasting from cern already...
click on this link, wait for it to load with the info vid and then click below to switch to flash player.

some woman moved the cam position to point at the back of the room - it was pointing down the centre aisle earlier.

Oh my goodness I watch it for 4 minutes then get the color screen. this is rather annoying. The people on the screen were interesting to watch.

eek - perhaps theres' a secret ats member at cern who saw this thread and didn't realise the cam was already broadcasting.

i'll keep checking back on the cam in case someone switches it back on again. it's just showing the coloured lines atm.

just checked it again. its green static showing now.

the audio is working at the moment (though they are talking french). still green static though. sounds as if they could be testing it.

the audio wasn't working this morning so maybe they will add the picture again soon

the cam is working again now but there is no audio with it.

it's also been moved to overlook the main area

i'm waving at whoever it is that is reading this thread at cern and acting upon it ... thankyou thankyou lol.

they're testing out different cams now. here is a close up of the floor and earlier was some guy at his desk

A very well done and explainatory video non the less, a must see for sure.

Ah I see switch to flash mode, I did contact CERN to ask if there was a better link to view the live feeds, will await their answer.

the vid is interesting but its not the live stream (yet).

you just have to wait for that vid to load and when it does, click below where it says switch to flash player - then you will see the live stream.

How long does it take to load cos its taking ages for me right now.

just checked and both vid & audio are down atm. will check again later but it'll be back on again early tomorrow morn anyway.

can somebody just post what time it will be EST ??

cam is still down. will be checking and will post again when its back up.

uk peeps can tune into radio 4 and listen to coverage as they will be covering it live also
