'2 US aircraft carriers headed for Gulf'

Two additional United States naval aircraft carriers are heading to the Gulf and the Red Sea, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper Kuwait Times.

Kuwait began finalizing its "emergency war plan" on being told the vessels were bound for the region.

Its starting to hit home now with all this iran talk..

Are they beefing up there battle ships in the middle east?

Israel is about to do its thing. The US is sending carrier groups in case Iran tries to close the straight. The US wont be involved in the attack on Iran, but will most definitely be involved if the Iranians respond to an Israeli attack by cutting off the worlds oil supply.

I think Israel has told the US that they are going in and if they want to keep the shipping lanes open, then they better hurry up because they arent waiting any longer. I also think Israel was ready to do this a month ago but was told to hold off until the deadline passed to see what Irans response to the incentives package would be.

Irans response was received this week, now Israel's response will be heard soon as well.

I have a bad feeling the only response we're gonna hear from israel, is large explosions.. If iran counter strike israel, which i think they will.. there will be world war 3

what do you think iran is capable of doing in retaliation? I really hope they wont use any weapons of mass destruction, but if so, I guess it's best to get it over with seeing as they proly will use the nuclear option if allowed to keep the production going.

Unfortunately i think you are 100% correct. This thing can go wrong on so many different levels...and WW3 is where it will go.

I heard that iran can fire 20 thousand rockets at israel within 5 mins of an attack by israel.. I believe they are very capable of hitting israel hard, maybe not with nukes, then again your not just dealing with iran, your dealing with hezbollah and also russia who say they will come to irans aide if attacked..

Whenever large offensive military forces are brought into such close proximity, you're just begging for something to go wrong.

I fail to understand why, if they are committed to the idea of a conflict, don't they just get it over with?

This pussy-footing around is just tormenting the population and reeking havoc on the markets of the world.

War is the most offensive and abused 'privilege' of the state in our time.

There ought to be a law....

They could try to close the Straight of Hormuz for one thing. I dont think that will last too long though. I also think they may try a WMD on Israel. You can also be assured that Hezbollah will begin firing missles at will from Lebanon.

If Iran doesnt try to close the Straight, maybe this thing can be limited to an Iranian/Israeli conflict.

If they do try to close the Straight then the US will get involved and from there things could spiral badly. How does Iran respond to the US opening the Straight back up after Iran closes it? By attacking our troops in Iraq? Then Iraq is dragged into the deal, Syria im sure, Hamas might as well get into it. From there it just gets uglier and uglier.

I wouldn't be suprised to see a conflict between Iran and Israel blow up a bit but I don't see WW3 happening. At least not like WW1 and WW2. I don't see Russian's becoming so nationalist that they join the military en masse to come over here and give us a beat down. If there are mass casualties, i think the world would come together to end the mess ASAP.

It's hard to say how much of what Iran claims it can do is propaganda and how much is frighteningly real.

If Russia's oil supply is threatened, and they put military efforts to secure the Iranian resource, we just might see the 'World War' we all fear.

This WILL be the World War that empowers much of the worlds' government to impose a structure of control on the people that will take decades to undo... War is the NWO's friend.

This is most unsettling.

I think that Israel will launch attack Iran over the development of nuclear weapons.

I hope that the US doesn't get involved. I fear the US will be involved if Iran trys to shut off the shipping of oil to the rest of the world. Then Iran will suffer from US air strikes on all their military facilities that can reach the oil tankers.

I don't think that this will be WW3.

But it could get very ugly.

Well, everyone should prepare themselves mentally and character-wise for death. If memory serves me, these are the circumstances under which the Islamic Mahdi is supposed to reappear, and if you cross reference the Mahdi prophecies with Revelation, we see that this Mahdi is the anti-christ (more accurately, he's the "First Beast", followed by Issa, the "Second Beast" or False Prophet, and they will persecute the world (or rather, they'll persecute us Christians and Jews and anyone else who refuses to become a muslim).

If other contries get involved such as Kuwait and the UAE (by providing support to the US) then they become a target of Iran as well. Iran has even stated as much that any other countries in the region who help out are fair game.

This is where the China/Russia thing comes into the equation. Everyone starts to worry about oil with so much going on. So Russia and or China begin sending forces to the area "just to watch and keep an eye on things" and also to escort their own oil tankers for safety. There may not be a hostile intent at all from China and or Russia, but you see where having so much going on in one place where things could get out of control?

All it would take is one slip up and there ya go.
