about the impeachment petition

Topic started on 24-7-2008 @ 03:48 AM by billybob

could the thread have continued if it simply mentioned the petition, and didn't ask anyone to sign it?
to me, the laws have a letter and a spirit. the spirit is the only thing that matters.
rather than close such an important thread, would it not be better to simply edit the title to reflect neutrality, than to let a potentially history changing piece of information sink into oblivion?

p.s. this is the thread i'm talking about: impeachment petition

Yes, I would have to say that it could have.

The only reason that the thread was closed was because it violated the T&C. Soliciting members for signatures and the like is not prohibited here.

If someone wants to discuss the petition in any other way, there should be no problem with that.

well, it will be interesting to see if anything happens.

dennis is laying it on the line.

"destruction of the constitution", "war based on lies", "secret meetings with oil industries".

great speech.

too bad the petition didn't have more time.

Well, not for me as I find the whole thing to be utter trash.

But to each his own.
