Aside from making me laugh out loud, this article made me wonder why he was charged with disorderly conduct. Trespassing I can understand as pedestrians aren't allowed inside interstate rights-of-way unless they have had car troubles by federal law. However, unless he was nude, how is wearing a pair of fake breasts and a thong disorderly conduct?

Well I don't know about you, but I call wearing nothing but a thong in public rather lewd. I know he's technically not naked, but come on. If there was a woman walking down the street bear breasted with a thong on, I'm sure it would have went the same way. It's not like he was at the beach. Would you want your kids seeing that? I wouldn't. This did make me laugh also.

It sounds like he was trying to prostitute himself but they didn't have any evidence to get him on that so they got him on the trespass technicality and tacked on the disorderly conduct to make the punishment more severe.

No, I wouldn't want my kids to see that at all. However, I'm still not sure it's a crime in this country. Seattle's got a naked parade/bike event where you have fully naked people with a little body paint on wandering around the streets. I know they aren't the only city that has something like this. They've challenged it in court and the courts have ruled they have a right to do this as long as it doesn't cross over into the pornographic. I guess maybe this is an example of might makes right and since this was one dude having his own little parade he hasn't got the same rights as the groups of people do.

Wow, I didn't even know that. The more you know, I guess.
My guess is maybe it has to do with all the calls they received on him. For instance, in my part of town one can't go to the gas station without being harassed by a bum for money, cigarettes or something. If the police get enough calls on them, they will come arrest them. I've seen it happen, even if the homeless person isn't in possession of any illegal contraban. I'd say this is pretty similar. Kind of equal to disturbing the peace or something of that nature.

What happened to freedom of expression ? Now i could see if he had his wang-chung hanging out . Or even a fake one that led enough people to believe it was.

Anyway . This is yet another case of . If you were not looking you wouldn't know how silly they look.

Its not stupid, if you knew how he almost caused a few Wrecks on the hiway and flashed a few folks besides. He was a menace and a hazard by wandering into the lanes of the hiway when he was in his 'costume'. He's also a known nutcase. Thats not his fault but still, it doesn't excuse his behavior.

Having kids see a yahoo in a thong and fake boobs.....
Oh the horror.....

On the www. they can see decapitations, mutilations, torture, real sick porno and George Bush and you're worried about a geek dressed silly.

Everyweekend I play in a bar where usually women that are usually 50 lbs overweight flash their breast, and more and everyone loves it. Christ, I'd rather hang with saloon society than a bunch of uptight prudes.
