those are great pictures, but with the exception of hoag's object what are the others? i'd like to know. the first sort of looks like m31, but it looks more like a hubble deep field shot.

Yeah, the hubble really takes some kick ass pictures.

Yeah.. the Hubble is truly amazing... better enjoy it while you can though! It seems ridiculous to let that piece of machinery burn up in the atmosphere instead of sending a service mission to it (it will run out of fuel within a few years)! Its replacement wont be ready until after 2010 and isnt supposed to be as good either... which really makes no sense...

Seems like there should be a way to mount something to to the ISS to span the gap between 'real' space telescopes.
