When McCain Drops Out

If the Republicans were smart, I think it would be a good move to replace McCain, I really don't think he can beat Obama. His ideas are just more of the Bush rhetoric, which 81% of the country is against (81% think our country is headed in the wrong direction.)

However, the Repubs have no viable candidates that might win. Condi has insisted she won't run for prez and she's about the most ingelligent one. That would be an interesting election, with 2 prez candidates who are black, one of whom is a woman. Who will the bigots vote for?

Many Repubs will be crossing over to vote for Obama, as many don't want any more Bushoids in office; and no Dems will vote for a Repub, not after Bush. So they would need to come up with a pretty strong candidate, which they don't have at the moment.

This is how I see it, anyway. Please feel free to disagree with me, I'd be interested in hearing from others if they don't think my prediction is right.
