You could not be any more correct. Cell phones are tracking devices. If people don't wake up; all the information they are providing on themselves to the government - may one day be used against them. The only way to disable the tracking capabilities of a cell phone is to remove the battery. For those who drive cars with ONSTAR systems, you need to wake up also. Those things are always on, unless you disconect your car battery, when you get home each night. I personally would never own a cell phone or an ONSTAR tracking system in my car. I do not want to be that available (trackable) to anyone. I value privacy.

you value privacy?

you get mail? they know where you live

you have a job? they know how much you make

you visit banks? they see you on camera

you live in the same house? they know exactly where to find you

I agree with you all the way.

I do not have a cell phone and I have educated my teenage son enough that he wont turn on or charge the cell phone his Dad bought him. He tells his Dad he lost it......to bad so sad.

It is a FACT they have tracing and listening devices in them.
Its a FACT they are linked to brain tumors....
Its a FACT they can pop popcorn just like any other microwave......
Its a FACT that men who carry one in a pants pocket have a much lower motility rate of live sperm.

No cell phone for me................leave a message at my house on the regular phone please and thank you.
I guess I am an old fogey to............HI FOGEYS

All you say is also a FACT.......but........sometimes your having a conversation that you want to be TOTALLY private, and suppose your in a car with on star and 'someone' is having themselves a listen?
The cell phone can be used the same way.................and I find these tactics much more invasive than the ones you listed above (those are bad enough)

What if we wind up under marshal law and your in your jeep driving on the woods not even using roads heading to Canada......and woops to bad so sad they KNOW exactly where you are because your carrying a cell phone.....Bummer man looks like you foiled your own escape plan......DUH.

Now I DO think having an 'emergency only' disposable phone is a decent idea.....pay for the minutes upfront and leave the phone off all the time.....IF something happens you need it you can charge it up for a few then make the needed call.......no mess no fuss. Maybe I am wrong with this idea...but I do not HAVE a pre paid disposable, I was just thinking it might not be such a terrible idea.....

It will be a "mark" on the right hand, or in the forehead.
Give me a call back when they start implanting cell phones in those areas.

Hmmm...Which hand do you use when you talk on your phone?

Let's hope you're a "southpaw"...There's not a lot of 'em in the population.

Another thing to consider: How many people use "hands off" models? Technically, not used on the forehead, but pretty close.

As a government employee, I was chipped two years ago when being assigned my current post.

That said, my chip is the kind of identification tag that'd be useful in medical situations; Medical history, name, blood-type, profession, etc.

A cellphone, while a bit devious of them to use it in such a format, can't render much useful information, unless you send out inane information for whatever reason through texting or messages. The real solution here is to just not use your cellphone for anything important, or don't be wanted by the police.

I don't think it is the chip because given the choice most people would decline a cell phone because it's not THAT important. Think about it, people use them for various reasons. Are you proposing that I will feel the complete wraith of God for having a way of getting in touch of someone in case of an emergency?

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16-17

People can buy and sell just fine without a cell phone. And there are people on this thread that claim to be poor and don't have one. Has the beast forced a cell phone into their hands? I still think the mark is a credit card or implanted chip (leaning towards a chip).

like for real, wake up, freakin' DING DING DING WTF do you think a social insurance # is for? they hardly need any chips to track what people do if they follow a sin #

it's even abbreviated as "SIN"

lol

open your freaking eyes the future is now, a chip is a joke to someone who types in your SIN # and reads all they want

you need a SIN for a job right? like WOW hello, wake up, a chip should be the least of our worries, start thinking about the ease of putting a machine gun on tank treads with a motion sensor camera lol a chip?

reminds me of allen iverson and "practice"

a chip? a chip? we're talking about a chip? no man we have the SIN #, a chip? a chip? i die every day and give my all for my SIN #, but we're talking about a chip?

if you can't get my point here, too freaking bad like think about it, your SIN NUMBER, SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER = SIN

i am not religious at all ,so don't think i am all on that boat, nothing wrong with it but, we're talking about a chip when the social insurance number does what the chip does, do you all not see that?

like wow......this chip talk has been stupid since the day it started because it's already in place, as a social insurance number, when you use your bank account, your credit card etc. it's related to your SIN

i mean pretty easy to see.........but we're talking about a chip? a chip?

*SIGH*

Some of these replies make me think a little too much time is being spent entertaining ourselves with giddy thoughts of apocalyptic outcomes and delusions of all of a sudden turning into some RAMBO action figure with a lair full of ammo and survival stuff on the hide-out from some tyrant government who wants to get you.

GET OVER YOURSELF.

Do you people have ANY idea how many humans are in this country, let alone the whole world?

Paranoia is a serious element of control. All you fear-mongers are just falling for the psychological trap of convenience and fear, and few really want to take the responsibility to wipe their own butt anymore.

Do you like being coddled? Are you co-dependent? IMHO you would then enjoy the comfort of knowing with a chip someone can find you at any time. Heck, I have nothing to hide, right?

Don't like to be tied down? Into questionable things that you're not really all that interested in having others know what your up to- legal or not? IMHO you would then despise the very notion that people could one day be tracked instantly via implanted chips.

Everything is one's own individual perspective, and everyone should have a choice on what they want to do with their body- healthy or not.

GOVERNMENTS HAVE NO CONTROL OVER YOU. YOUR FELLOW MAN AND NEIGHBOR DOES.

As a collective society, group opinion reigns supreme. It is what steers us and controls the output of our daily lives. You might ask yourself when the time comes- whose side am I really on?

We must strive to be independent and control our own fears, and once one reaches that level, you might realize you've allowed yourself to be controlled through your own fears, and not much is really as bad as it seems.

Fear can disarm a nations army. But I think the USA has enough tough-skinned patriots to cover our arses when in need. Some of you make it sound like we're gonna get tied down and force-fed these things. Chances are more likely that we'll be manipulated into thinking we NEED them.

THAT'S when you need to start wiping your own arse if you haven't started already...

While your idea is interesting it is not new. people will often relate the number to the beast to many of the numerical systems we have in place. I also think it is purely a westernised vision of the number of the beast. While mobile phones are an everyday item for the west, the third world has neither the infrastructure or the personal wealth to support this system. Is the mark of the beast only for those of the west. Has the third world a mortgage on morality while the west has fallen prey to an evil because it uses a clever communicative device.
We can easily fit many aspects of western society to these Bible prophecy as it is the most closely connected and monitored society on earth. This connection is based on the many centralised computerised and Logically numerical system that help organise and order our society, this favours the link to the prophecies within revelation. It is a shame that the same logic is not used in questioning the validity of these links by simply observing them in context of the whole planet. Revelations was not written just for America, or the West.

digg.com...
www.peterrussell.com... site for world pop. and other stuff.
Given that the majority of people are infact getting poorer, it would be safe to assume that mobiles will continue to ellude a great majority of people.
www.globalissues.org...
2.2 billion humans on Earth are children.
How do you recharge your phone when you get your energy here.

In developing countries some 2.5 billion people are forced to rely on biomass—fuelwood, charcoal and animal dung—to meet their energy needs for cooking. In sub-Saharan Africa, over 80 percent of the population depends on traditional biomass for cooking, as do over half of the populations of India and China.Source 14

Who needs a mobile phone to live in a hell. These people don't.

BTW.....i am getting rid of my phone. Just in case. Good post. Very thought provoking.

The potency and effectiveness of conditioning by the media sources ( the sickening emphasis on consumerism, commercialism, celebrity culture and endless negative news aimed at fear mongering and making us all believe the world is in near anarchy), will result in them be accepted by the majority. Eventually, joe public will see it as just another status symbol, people will want to have the "right" numbers etc, like car plates.

Events that are no doubt planned to help with a smooth transition to this system will no doubt ensue. The classic quote comes to mind " they won't just accept them, they will demand them."

Im not so into this revelation relation however, although I can accept it as being the metaphoric number of the beast. Perhaps we will be barcoded rather than chipped, like Orwell suggested.

Did you know that even if your cell phone is turned off, the police can activate the microphone and listen to your conversations?

The people have willing chipped themselves.

I won't have one of the cussed things so I guess that makes me an old fogey too.

Reading your post, I thought you were going to say a credit card (which also embeds a chip).

I feel more people would carry credit cards than cell phones more frequently.

But a question I've been meaning to ask for a while now: if the 'chip' theory is to be believed, who exactly is going to monitor billions of calls daily. This is simply not possible and thats where the theory ends with me.

Brei.

I can give you an Idea of just how easy it would be to do it. Check this video out!!

They can, or so could I for that matter, listen in on wireless phone conversations.

My dad has a box that listens to cops etc on their radios, it also picks up conversations in a mile radius of people talking on their mobile phones.

I was thinking. What if the system we live in is the beast. The mark is not
a literal mark, but one that God can see. We can not buy or sell etc unless we are part of the beasts system. .... Scary thought.

your pretty much dead already then

end times paranoia is always the best, its awesome and funny

if you are that scared of the beast, any of you, read your bible and follow gods rules for living, the 10 commandments, they are pretty much common sense

and read the teachings of jesus and strive to understand and follow his example and believe he died for your sins that you may be saved and wahlah you are saved

i think the vaccines are more of a threat than the cell phones.and the jamming frequencies.and our drinking water, and our food, and many others.as david icke and others theorize, the mark of the beast is probably gonna be the universal credit cards which are already available, but will be made mandatory when the euro, dollar and all other currencies meld into one.as you mentioned, no man will be able to buy or sell without it.let's hope it never comes to that, and humanity wakes up before the "new world".good post though.

It is interesting most people have put in chips in their pets in case they get lost. It will be soon the government suggests people put chips in their children in case they got lost or kidnapped (they will push the kidnapped idea as it is a great scare tactic). Then they will want the elderly chipped as they get forgetful and soon will offer it to the general population stating they might get into an accident and the chip will help find them. Scary isn't it?
