mmmmm love doesnt need to hurt but sometimes it does and thats why we have the awesome friends that we have. But in a way I guess it needs to hurt because it brings you so much closer to the other people around you. In fact the only reason Im so close to some of my friends is from being there during the times that they needed someone to be there for them and I just happened to be that person.

Love...something I avoid...I would hate to be hurt!
How can I love someone else, if I dont love myself?

Alot of work to be done, for now!

Oneday, I do wish to find a lover, just not yet!

I think that Warren Zevon said it best in his song, The Heartache;

Shadows falling in the noonday sun,
Blue feeling to the maximum.
Look what happens when you love someone,
And they don't love you.

The heartache
The risk you run
The chance you take
When you love someone
And the sorrow
For the lonely one
When the heartache comes

Never thought I'd be alone like this,
Guess I should have been a realist.
That's the trouble with relationships,
They end too soon.

The heartache
The risk you run
The chance you take
When you love someone
And the sorrow
For the lonely one
When the heartache comes

And the darkness falls And the rain comes down,
In the midst of spring There's a sadness in the
heart of things,

The heartache
The risk you run
The chance you take
When you love someone
And the sorrow
For the lonely one
When the heartache comes

Shadows falling in the noonday sun,
Blue feeling to the maximum.

Love hurts. It is the most destructive power in the entire universe. Love is the only thing in existance that can uterly and completely destroy a soul. The power of a broken heart can at times kill a person physicly. Without it our lives are empty and without perpose, with it no mountain can stand in our way. But take it away and the person can be left hollow on the inside, dead in all but the biological sense.

When you are feeling hurt, you must remember...

Feeling down and hurt is the only way to know that you can feel, and it IS because you can feel, which allows you to feel such emensie emotions...

Emotionaly pain is only temporary, and is ussaly replaced with good emotions... down the road...

Love shouldn't hurt, but it always seems to. It should be a joinng of two people, that makes both of them happy. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that way. If it does you should count yourself incredibly lucky.

If love hurts I cannot think of better words than those of Pablo Neruda:

I can write the saddest lines tonight.

Write for example: ‘The night is fractured
and they shiver, blue, those stars, in the distance’

The night wind turns in the sky and sings.
I can write the saddest lines tonight.
I loved her, sometimes she loved me too.

On nights like these I held her in my arms.
I kissed her greatly under the infinite sky.

She loved me, sometimes I loved her too.
How could I not have loved her huge, still eyes.

I can write the saddest lines tonight.
To think I don’t have her, to feel I have lost her.

Hear the vast night, vaster without her.
Lines fall on the soul like dew on the grass.

What does it matter that I couldn’t keep her.
The night is fractured and she is not with me.

That is all. Someone sings far off. Far off,
my soul is not content to have lost her.

As though to reach her, my sight looks for her.
My heart looks for her: she is not with me

The same night whitens, in the same branches.
We, from that time, we are not the same.

I don’t love her, that’s certain, but how I loved her.
My voice tried to find the breeze to reach her.

Another’s kisses on her, like my kisses.
Her voice, her bright body, infinite eyes.

I don’t love her, that’s certain, but perhaps I love her.
Love is brief: forgetting lasts so long.

Since, on these nights, I held her in my arms,
my soul is not content to have lost her.

Though this is the last pain she will make me suffer,
and these are the last lines I will write for her.

Love does hurt.....although it shouldnt be confused with the pain from a heart attack

Love can indeed hurt when things go wrong. But you know what I've found out during my rather brief fling with it? The feelings of love can be the most wonderful and painful emotions that you'll ever have. Are they worth it? In a word .... yes.

Worth it? Thats a very hard question. Is love worth the pain? My answer is no. It is not worth the pain, the suffering, the sleepless nights, the terrible strain on the heart.

Then the loss of that love makes everything stated above that much worse. I personaly wish I would have never found love not even once in this life.

Whoever said it is better to have loved and lost than to have loved at all is a fool. It is truly better to have never loved at all than to have loved and lost.

Love itself doesn't hurt. I suppose sometimes it can feel so good that it hurts, but I don't know if you would really call that "hurt." However, the loss of love is a horrible, dark, tragic pain that I could never even have imagined I was capable of feeling. Is it worth it? Right now, I'm tempted to say no, but that would be rash and purely emotional. I'll get back on that in a few months when I'll hopefully be completely over it...
