Good evening my fellow Publorians.

I sit here in a state of pronounced intoxication. I do not normally succumb to the plaque of Baccus but this evening I have just enjoyed ywo home measured "doubles" of Metaxa Five Star Premium Brandy and am as a consequence entirely sozzled.

Where better to share such glad tidings than in this delictable establishment!

I noted earlier that orange_light requested a hug - I wished to do so in an amicable platonic fashion but sobriety stayed my arms but now, in vino veritas, I profer what solace such an embrace may impart.

I know I shall read this in the morning with regret but I wish here to manifest the phenomenal occurence I frequently experience wherein a state of intoxication renders me more eriudite than I might otherwise appear. Anyone else find this?

Well, the morning shall inform me if this is a delusion of intoxication or is indeed true when I review this in the cold dawn of normality. I submit this to you, dear Supercertari, without editing or lingering over word selection - you wourself may judge yourself appropriately in the morning.

To the rest of the pub I say - hail to thee! Raise your arm, open your mouth and sup with me!!
