Happy Monday everyone.

Still no baby I'm afraid. My wife is ready to go any second now and the little guy is being stubborn.

I'm gonna try to proceed like normal today, which means getting back into my debate and everything, so we'll see what happens.

Is your expecting baby a boy?

I heard that we men are the most adamant.

Yes it is a boy.

Apparently he's going to be just as stubborn as his father.

I've finally got my opening to the debate posted.

This should be good.

I was happily suprised to learn yesterday that The Vagabond had most generously granted my probably quite ill-advised request for admission to your hallowed halls, that domain where only Fighters are granted entry.

And so I humbly extend my sincerest thanks to The Vagabond as well as all the rest who are here for having bestowed upon me this unexpected privilege and honor. In return I promise to always do my best to uphold the high traditions of this honorable Debate Forum by doing my homework and showing up on time. I'm not saying I'll ever win a debate here, or even come close to it, but I'll try. I hope I won't disappoint you!

Now, please allow me to introduce myself.

I arrived at ATS only recently, and after a mere couple of weeks I had audacity to request admission to the Fight Club. Much to my suprise, as I have already mentioned, this request, ill advised as it may have been, was granted! Now what do I do? Anyway, I am now becomming reaquainted with that feeling I am sure a minnow or other pitifully small fish must have in the presence of sharks, barracuda, and other fearsome predators of the deep. I think I need a drink.

It is my understanding that it is customary, and indeed only proper, for the newest member to by a drink for the house, and so I have taken the liberty of ordering up what I hope will be a sufficient quantity of the golden brew. And so, without further adiau, please have one ( or more ) on me !

external image

I hope everybody likes the brand - it's the only truck load ( make that double ) I could find on short notice.

This is a lot of beer, so please don't overdo it, as happened the last time I bought the house a few -

Now that the formalities are out of the way, everybody have a great time. I will now take my leave of this august body, because I now ride into battle!

Till we meet again !

Welcome visible villain...and what an intro that was.

Ill advised perhaps, however, you must consider that they let me in the place...apparently they'll take anyone...

I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do...

I like your style.

* steps over the crates of yellow water *

* grabs the bottle of golden brew *

Ah, Belvenie... solid yet mellow. Cheers.

I have a trapped nerve in the neck/shoulder area, and today had some acupuncture for it (ain't the NHS great
)

A very strange sensation, but it really does seem to work!

Except for something a little bizarre - the muscle was so rigid in one of the points that it actually pushed the needle out

Got more on wednesday and more again next week
so I might finally be rid of this.

OL - I would recommend trying it, although apparently it doesn't work for everyone.

What TWISI, is twenty? I know TWISI is a she, i thought that she was fourty or something.

Disclosure is happening.

peacejet, sorry about the misunderstanding – I meant I would post my opening during my afternoon, not yours

So it should be available by the time you wake up tomorrow, which I think is about 7PM my time and 5AM your time. Then I thought you'd have your morning to work on your reply and post before you go to school, or if you need more time just u2u me.

Because of time juggling, I have no problem with saying your deadlines are 26 or 27 hours instead of the usual 24; that way you could have one morning to read, think about, and research rebuttals and a second morning to write it up and post it.

And BTW, SDog is being too sweet. I'm 37 (though you could have checked my profile for that too
) Which is distressingly close to 40

Welcome to visible_villain and nice to meet you to MastaG

And good morning/afternoon to everyone else
