Great idea Skyfloating.

Psychology is a relatively new science (and not very precise at that either).

I think I would enjoy such a discussion area. Especially when some of the thoughts than come from my mind are "way out there" and don't fit into some of the other forums.

Perhaps we can get down to the business of how psychology has been used against us for the last 80 odd years....

...and in need of a lot of refinement from ATS members, right?

Has the administration even aknowledged your request for a new forum yet ? If so do they seem favorable to it, and have they given any idea as to how many votes will be needed ?

yes, all is well. Administration has given the "go ahead" for this vote.

As to how many are necessary: I dont know, but we´ll see.

Im confident it will happen sooner or later.

I vote 'YES'

It would save some of the threads that interest the more in depth mind being offset to BTS.

Regards and good luck with it S_G

I'm interested in these subjects and it's hard to find good threads among everything else. Count me as a YES.

Without a doubt...and to get the ball rolling..so to speak,

Modern society is based on the principal of the majority being controlled by what they see and here. Advertising and business psychology specialists are well aware that they can't reach everyone to maximise profits, so they deliberately design adverts and the like to focus on specific groups of people or specific individuals with similar lifestyles.

As far as criminal behaviour is studied and individuals sentenced with a psychological report, they may appear to have a certain type of personality, but that's only according to the psychologist. Anyone else who knows/knew/met the criminal may very well have a completely different opinion of the person and may say that the criminal action was totally out of character. That alone draws suspicion towards the report of a psychologist especially when psychology is still in its infancy.

Then you can really start to stretch the boundaries...

It's now considered to be almost (or is) fact that there are 11 dimensions.
According to the suggested membranes that make up all of these dimensions and multiple universes, it may be very possible that the 'you' living in another dimension is the cause and influence of any or all of your behaviour at a particular time. This causes a major headache. If these actions were fact then who is ultimately responsible for your individual behaviour? Was it you in this dimension or the influence of you in another dimension or the interactions of the rippling membranes influencing the time and space that the ripples and you were sharing at any one particular time?

So without throwing the purpose of this thread off any further... I'll leave it here and leave those ideas floating around.. Might be good food for discussion WHEN the NEW FORUM is finally open

Count me in, i vote yes!

There is one thread in particular that was slung into skunkworks that really shouldn't be there.

Good luck with this Sky

yep, thats the idea of the Forum. Leaving mind out of the equation only leaves half of reality left to explore.

Which makes it perfect for a conspiracy board...

Any running tally being kept? How are we doing? I thought you would have gotten enough votes and flags by now! I would very much like to see your suggestion adopted.

For what it's worth, I am all for it.

It's high time topics like the ones listed were moved out of the realm of the "paranormal" (even though there's nothing wrong with it per se.)

My guess would be that 100 Flags should be enough.

I'd actually like to see all those categories on ATS. Great Thread.
Those would really contribute to the discussions on ATS.
