For anyone still having problems getting the right embed code here is a small program i wrote that extracts the number from the youtube or google video page url .

Edit: Good! Finally it worked. YT embeds were not working for me all of a sudden even though they always worked before and I wasn't embedding them any differently.

Sorry to bump an old thread. It was just driving me nuts.

Edit: Ok. Done. Apparently they are broken links in preview and that was the problem but they work once the post is submitted.
